1. Before each flight, thoroughly prepare by updating self with onboard updates and communications to ensure that all elements of safety and service are consistently delivered on every flight.
2. Welcome customers with a smile during boarding, greet by name where possible, assist them to their seats and help them with their baggage. Personally introduce self to customers in the assigned area. Ensure customers are familiar with the seat functionality and IFE system.
3. Create a warm, friendly and Customer Service oriented atmosphere during the flight. Maintain cabin presence by being visible and available in the cabin throughout the flight. Create opportunities to make a difference to the customers’ experience by always canvassing and anticipating their needs during the flight. Identify opportunities to demonstrate the Service Personality through being considerate, personal, and thorough.
4. Respond to call bells promptly and attend to customers’ needs in an efficient and friendly manner. If their requirements cannot be met, an explanation must be given, and an alternative offered.
5. Pay special attention to High Value customers and those with special needs such as mothers with infants and elderly customers.
6. Ensure customers’ safety and comfort throughout the flight by maintaining a clean cabin, keeping working areas tidy and by constant monitoring, tidying and replenishment of the toilets.
7. Provide information and clarification to customers of known delays, diversions, or disruptions.
8. Act as a brand ambassador by displaying immaculate image and uniform standards. Always demonstrate a positive and professional image with appropriate conduct and behavior.
9. Contribute as an active and supportive team member. Take direction from the SFS/Purser, support decisions and act in accordance with the chain of command. Be prepared to work out of grade at any given time and proactively volunteer to assist in other cabins whenever necessary.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required, College degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience in the Guest Service, Hospitality and/or Sales/Merchandising industry.
- Required to attend and successfully complete a 4-week Initial Flight Attendant training.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be at least 5’0 (without shoes).
- Must be able to lift 50lbs from floor to above shoulder level, ability to reach aircraft overhead bins and storage areas.
- Must be able to comply with our no visible tattoo policy.
- Must be able to comply with our piercing policy. Flight Attendants are allowed two matching earrings in the earlobe only. No other visible piercings are allowed. Earlobe gauges and cuffs are not allowed.
- Must be able to fasten a four point jump seat harness without the use of extension devices.
- Must have a passport with at least six(6) months of validity that grants you the ability to travel in and out of the USA and to all cities/countries served by Spirit Airlines.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be dependable, energetic, outgoing, a team player, and demonstrate leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, days and holidays.
- Ability to work in close quarters with service animals as well as all snack items, including but not limited to peanuts.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety and comfort of Guests aboard the aircraft while providing exemplary service.
- Provide Guests with briefings pre-flight, during flight, and after landing.
- Assist Guests by answering any inquiries they may have in addition to aiding Guests with their carry-on items, which may require overhead lifting.
- Market, sell, and provide snacks and beverages to Guests.
- Check emergency equipment and be aware of hazardous situations in the cabin.
- Demonstrate the use of emergency equipment as required.
- Provides leadership, direction, and assistance during an emergency situation, including aircraft evacuation, administering first aid to ill or incapacitated Guests, and during incidents such as turbulent flights and delayed flights.

Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing every customer with the very best service on our aircraft.
- Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times.
- Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Respond effectively during emergency situations. Provide emergency medical assistance (e.g., performing CPR and basic first aid) to assist individuals in distress.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as receive and process payments for purchased items.
- Provide customer service assistance such as lifting, transporting and stowing luggage into overhead bins or storage areas.

Physical Requirements
- Sit or stand for long periods of time. Sit in an assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat is 21” at the widest part of the seat.
- Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force.
- Candidate height must not exceed 70.5 inches or 5' 10 ½” when measured without shoes (with flat feet).
- Ability to reach into overhead bins and retrieve stored items. Ability to reach a minimum of 76 inches, when measured without shoes, from flat feet to fingertips.
- Work in aircraft aisles and galleys, and while standing, reaching (extended in front and to the side of the body and above the head), walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and fit quickly through any exit.
- Hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise.
