Flight Options CEO and leadership

Michael Silvestro recently became the longest-tenured CEO in the fractional private jet industry after having assumed his current role just before the financial crisis of 2008. While attending Notre Dame, he was one of two non-scholarship football players in his freshman class to make the team which later won the Cotton Bowl. After Notre Dame, Silvestro spent two decades inventing products and founding companies in the footwear and sporting goods industries. Looking for a new challenge, he joined fractional jet company, Flight Options, founded by his Notre Dame roommate Kenn Ricci, and oversaw sales. He turned sales around after the dot-com crash, building the company into the industry’s second-ranked player and leaving only after Ricci sold the company to Raytheon. When Ricci reacquired Flight Options in 2008, he returned to the company, this time as CEO. In 2013, Ricci acquired fractional pioneer Flexjet from Bombardier and Silvestro became CEO of Flexjet as well. He is deeply involved in youth and children’s charities and he and his wife, Mary Lynn, adopted two orphaned Rwandan children in addition to raising their own sons.

Michael 'Mike' Rossi works at Flight Options and a Principal at Directional Capital LLC, Chief Financial Officer at Flight Options, and Chief Financial Officer at Mercury Air Centers Inc. He studied at John Carroll University.

Mike Motsis is an Assistant Chief Pilot at Flight Options and Global Express Aircraft Commander at Flexjet and is based in Strongsville, Ohio. He has worked as Pilot Support Manager at Flight Options. Mike studied at Cuyahoga Community College between 1987 and 1991 and The Ohio State University between 1991 and 1996.

Phil Laffer is a Chief Pilot at Flight Options and is based in Queensland, Australia. He attended Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (Ongc).

Richard Evans is a Chief Inspector at Flight Options and is based in Nevada Area, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Todd Anguish is a Photographer at Todd Anguish Photography, Chief Safety Officer at Flight Options, and Fleet Chief Pilot at Flight Options and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has worked as Flight Instructor, CFI, CFII, MEI at USAF Academy Aero Club; Flight Safety Manager at Flight Options; and First Officer at PSA Airlines. Todd attended MITRE Safety Management System between 2012 and 2012, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) between 2013 and 2013, and Thomas Edison State College between 2002 and 2010.
