The FlightMechanic is responsible to the Line Maintenance Manager. When the FlightMechanic is assigned duty at an OAI maintenance station he will report to the Station
Maintenance Manager/Lead Mechanic. The FlightMechanic has ETOPS duties as defined in the ETOPS Policies and Procedures Manual (EPPM).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Always safety conscious when executing duties and responsibilities
* Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with OAI manuals, manufacturers' manuals, FAR's and other established procedures to ensure timely release and continued airworthiness of company aircraft
* Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents
* Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed and approved hardware or supplies are used
* FlightMechanics will not perform routine maintenance tasks while aircraft is in flight
* Only items of an emergency nature will be addressed Inflight, and then, and only when directed to do so by the Captain
* While exercising authority under RII provisions the FlightMechanic will report directly to Director or Quality Control
* Maintenance Control will be kept informed of aircraft status as often as possible
* If the aircraft is on an A.O.G. status Maintenance Control will be informed and kept updated by most expeditious means available
* If possible call Maintenance Control at every stop
* Be security conscious: be aware of who is on your aircraft and what they are doing
* Report all security violations to the applicable authority
* Properly tag all repairable components including reason for removal
* Attend all training courses as assigned by any supervisor
* Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies developed by supervisor
* FlightMechanics are responsible for the fly-a-way kits installed on aircraft in which they are assigned
* Prior to accepting an aircraft they should conduct a visual inspection of the fly-a- way kit to ensure required tooling and supplies are available for trip
* Fly-a-way kit is to be kept neat and clean at all times, and all parts are to be properly protected and secured in the fly-a-way
* All paperwork will be neat, organized, properly documented, and returned to Tulsa as soon as possible - At a minimum weekly
* While traveling on company paid transportation, the FlightMechanic will wear proper attire and conduct himself in a professional manner - Proper attire would be business casual
* When onboard company aircraft, Mechanics are representing the Maintenance Department, and thereby dress appropriately and present a professional attitude
* Perform duties significant to the Lower Minimums Maintenance Program (LMP) as specified in GMM Chapter 12
* Maintain an insurable driving record under Omni insurance driving guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be willing to work a 12-hour shift schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport which allows unrestricted travel to all the countries where OAI may fly
* Valid A&P License
* Minimum 3 years maintenance experience on transport category aircraft
* Valid state issued drivers' license with clear MVR with no major moving violations within the past 3 years
* Must be able to pass a 10-year background/criminal/motor vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screen
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Aircraft Mechanic II (Avionics/Electrician):
Electrical Experience: Minimum of six years total experience in aircraft maintenance as an aircraft avionics/electrician with one year on F-15 aircraft. The Contractor shall have the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts and accessories/components and the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. The Contractor shall also have the skill to identify and isolate integrated systems malfunctions and analyze performance and operate integrated avionics systems to determine operational condition per operational checks. Experience using specialized tools required for military aviation electrical connector assembly/disassembly and other associated electrical terminating devices is required. Aircraft modification and operational checks experience required. Contractor must have experience in electrical harness fabrication and braiding.
Electrical Knowledge: The Contractor shall have the ability to follow and accomplish tasks in accordance with existing published technical data. The Contractor shall have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required to accomplish maintenance tasks and modifications. Knowledge is mandatory of electrical, electronic, microelectronic, mechanical and indicator principles theory, and application relating to electrical systems; concepts and application of maintenance directives; meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics; using and interpreting testing and measuring devices; and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent, with successful completion of related military or commercial courses. Courses in basic electronics, mathematics, general science, physics, and mechanics are desirable.

**What You'll Do:**
+ Assist with the assembly, installation, maintenance, removal and competently inspect underground facilities, conductors, fixtures, structures and other associated equipment on de-energized and grounded overhead and underground facilities under direct or immediate supervision.
+ Demonstrate the ability to competently perform ground person duties under immediate or direct supervision as skill level dictates.
+ Assist with loading, unloading, handling, maintaining, installing and removing poles, towers and structures.
+ After completion of D-100, or equivalent experience, the employee must demonstrate the ability to operate Company equipment (with exception of digger/derricks and aerial lift vehicles), climb poles, ladders and structures, and work on de-energized conductors and equipment.
+ Also, may work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts under direct supervision. After completion of D-200, or equivalent experience, operate digger/derrick and aerial devices, under immediate supervision as skill level dictates.
+ Also, under immediate supervision of a higher classification, may work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts.
+ Assemble and install Line Material and hardware under direct or immediate supervision
+ Use and store hand lines, tie knots and demonstrate a basic working knowledge with ropes and rigging equipment inspection and use.
+ Splice primary and secondary overhead wires using the proper tools, hardware and equipment (including crimping and compression tools).
+ After completion of D-200, or equivalent experience, under direct supervision, the employee may operate cutouts, line switches, reclosers, and other sectionalizing devices, refuse line and transformer devices.
+ During this time frame, the employee may progress from direct supervision to immediate and finally general supervision as skill level dictates.
+ After completion of D-300, or equivalent experience, test de-energized overhead lines and equipment install and remove personal protective grounds under immediate supervision.
+ Inspect and maintain tools, equipment and work area in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. Identify, inspect, use and maintain all classes of rubber gloves and sleeves (PIPE), and insulating blankets, hoses and covers (IPE). + Safely execute pole top rescue and bucket truck rescue processes as training is completed5. Protect or control work area. Set and remove barricades, flags, signs, cones and associated equipment.

A MECHANIC'S DAY-TO-DAY:
