Purpose of Position
Provide technical analysis, recommendations and drive implementation to maximize productivity in assigned areas
Tasks and Responsibilities
Performs independently; recognized as a resource to others: able to translate complex nuances to others; able to improve processes; focus on broad issues. Provides training to department members when required. Provides guidance to less senior Teammates in the department. Trains and mentors to other Teammates as required.
Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Communicate the product and process related information associated with manufacturing and engineering drawings such as technical data.
Support production activities and determine efficient routing by utilizing manufacturing knowledge to interact with mechanics to interpret engineering drawings and tolerance requirements.
Make improvements in the manufacture of the products to reduce cost, improve quality and efficiency.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity in the planning, scheduling and manufacturing this is based on knowledge or skills. Review and correct engineering drawings prior to planning being complete to eliminate errors before product is built.
Improve the product flow and the order of operations by utilizing materials and equipment capabilities.
Creates statistical analysis of errors and develop trends to identify areas of improvement.
Support the manufacturing process by taking corrective and preventative action on production delays and deviations, and support root cause analysis.
Reads blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, dimensions, quantities, engineering notes, Bill of Material, symbols, block changes and revisions.
Ensure Bill of Material accuracy in support of the EOL process and Change Board.
Identify patterns and trends in key performance indicators to support cross functional teams designed to maximize productivity.
Make independent decisions based on professional and technical knowledge.
Knowledge of tooling and fixtures.
Shift work and special work hours may be required to accomplish some of the above tasks.

Purpose of Position
Act as liaison to Customer providing reliable, professional and courteous support in a timely manner. Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are varied and complex to provide outstanding customer service both inside and outside the company. Maintain spare parts inventory database; responsible for support requests and assists with technical support.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Performs more varied and difficult aspects of the job; may need some guidance on job duties; applies learning to recommend options to address unusual situations. Provides training to others as required.
Read and interpret drawings for customer support and planning functions.
Input and maintain inventory data for master files in Syteline and SAP.
Create and input orders into Syteline Customer Order Module and cross reference and create jobs for manufactured items.
Create requisitions, pick lists, travelers and all other job paperwork for Commercial, Military and FlightSafety Customers.
Maintain and track status of all orders in Customer Order Module in Syteline and Support Request System to insure timely delivery and completion of customer requests.
Prepare and track kits for SOS manufactured items and stock jobs.
Create and issue RMA tracking numbers for repairs in RMA database to Commercial and Military Customers.
Determine appropriate disposition of parts received for repair to insure on time delivery for Commercial and Military Customers.
Issue parts to jobs in Syteline from pick lists, pull parts from shelves and route to appropriate parties. Perform quantity moves to SOS-Stage. Make reservations to Customer Orders as needed.
Maintain SOS stock levels and process special orders including overhead purchases.
Perform and maintain SOS warehouse functions including cycle counts, reorder stock as needed and restocking shelves.
Serve as competent backup for Product Support Specialist and Expeditors.
May be contacted evenings and weekends to provide AOG support, includes coming in to work and researching parts availability.
Determine and select the most efficient and cost effective AOG parts distribution to customer learning centers by researching parts availability in SAP, Syteline, and other sources. Facilitate and coordinate any counter to counter activity between centers, prepare paperwork, pull parts, package, and transport the parts for shipment to airport.
Coordinate and dispatch surplus inventory to FlightSafety Learning Centers.
Analyze and review shipped customer orders against purchase orders and coordinate with accounting to ensure the appropriate invoices are sent to customer for invoicing.
For billable engineering hours and onsite support, TSA must obtain copies of expense reports to analyze and verify all charges are logged and charged to job before submitting to accounting to invoice customer.
Coordinate the return of items for repair/exchange for customers including import/export information, customs paperwork and warranty determination.
Prepare quotes for commercial and military customers necessitating the review and analysis of drawings, current BOM, material costs and labor hours, documenting BOE in comments section of quote.
Secure vendor material quotes and lead times in order to prepare customer quotes.
Determine appropriate and accurate pricing structure for each quote.
Responsible for the review of outside customer purchase orders to ensure content; identifying and noting any special requirements and/or compliance with associated quote. Any nonstandard terms and conditions will be communicated in writing to the Supervisor.
Investigate and analyze jobs with high or unusual charges and prepare any required administrative or accounting correspondence/documentation to correct any problems found.
Monitor and track engineering support jobs to ensure hours and expenses do not exceed hours quoted.
Interface with vendors and Engineering to determine and obtain suitable replacement parts for obsolete/end-of-life items.
Administer warranty for outside customers.

Purpose of Position
The Director of Quality, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining all aspects of the quality management system of FlightSafety International's Simulation Systems division, managing all quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices to assure the organization of continuous improvement, conformance, and effectiveness with the appropriate standards and regulations.

Ensure ongoing compliance of the organization's QMS to existing or new quality standards (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.).
Responsible for CAPA, continuous process improvement, auditing projects, and a good understanding of business risk-reward tradeoffs in project management.
Knowledge of Quality documentation process, Document Control practices, as well as managing documents, records, forms, work-instructions in an easy-to-use and fast retrieval system.
Periodically reviews the suitability and effectiveness of the quality system with executive management. Understand, comply, and improve established company SOPs, policies, and procedures.
Leads all continuous improvement initiatives for FlightSafety Simulation Systems
Manages interactions with customers and regulatory authorities concerning the quality of products, systems, and processes.
Work with purchasing & production in the evaluation of suppliers and selection of potential suppliers.
Work with customer service, program managers, marketing, and engineering to determine and resolve customer-initiated actions for improvement.
Identifies and manages continuous improvement projects that may span multiple sections or departments/divisions with the objectives of achieving quality, reliability, and cost improvements.
Use process mapping techniques such as Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality outputs.

Minimum Education

Software Engineering Intern
will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to FlightSafety International's culture and business philosophy. This paid internship is a 10-week program that will begin May 26, 2026, and will conclude July 31st, 2026. 40 hours per week will be expected of each intern.

Purpose of Position
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules, including planning and scheduling of material/production needs. Work with manufacturing to determine the resources needed to meet production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and inventory to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain supply schedule by using MRP output to prioritize material requirements to ensure uninterrupted plant workflow.
* Convert and communicate demand requirements for products and material into detailed plans and requisitions for inventory acquisition.
* Reviews product lead-time, min-max levels, and safety stock level to accurately determine amount of materials needed.
* Manage the replenishment cycle, including PO/WO creation, PO/WO follow-up, inventory relief, transfer of materials (if required) and receipt of goods.
* Work with appropriate departments' i.e. purchasing, manufacturing, and scheduling to communicate potential issues/risks and provide projected availability and/or short-term options to avoid service interruptions.
* Maintain planning system integrity and optimize parameters relative to material planning data.
* Monitor and recommend safety stock levels for each item in planning portfolio on regular intervals.
* Analyze changing material demand patterns.
Minimum Education
Associates degree in Business, Operation Management or Supply Chain

Must have through knowledge of manufacturing processes needed to manufacture mechanical and electrical assemblies. Must be able to read blue prints and interpret drawings and bills of materials. Microsoft Office, Word, AutoDesk, Syteline, and MRP software preferred.

The System Engineer III supports Aircrew Training System (ATS) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) programs via the performance of systems engineering, project engineering, subcontractor management, modification design, logistics engineering and proposal estimation and proposal preparation tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Assists in analyzing technical requirements and developing specifications and Statements of Work for modifications, updates, improvements to, and/or new ATS/CLS program components. | Reviews and edits Statements of Work, Specifications, and technical documents prepared and/or submitted by others. | Supports program management and logistics functions via the performance of analyses and trade studies. | Assists in preparing cost estimates and technical text for ATS, CLS proposals, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Advance Change Study Notices (ACSNs), and Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), and New Business proposals. | Assists in accomplishing subcontractor/vendor technical design reviews and audits. May direct subcontractor personnel or provide in-depth analysis of subcontractor performance for progress payment purposes. | Participates as a presenter and/or technical advisor in customer technical interchange meetings, audits and program reviews. | Prepares subcontractor/vendor specifications and Statement of Work for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and subcontracts. Performs technical evaluations of proposals received and prepares recommendations for upper management. | Experience in all aspects subcontractor management, including schedule management, deliverable review and acceptance, quality acceptance steps and general subcontractor direction/management is highly desirable. | Ability to travel to witness and support acceptance testing events at customer site locations. | Travels to ATS sites and subcontractor facilities. | Performs make/buy analyses. | Supports modification projects, including cost and schedule management and reporting. | Assists in the development of new business proposals. | Performs other duties as assigned. |
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or four years, combination of education, experience, and training, in addition to what is listed below. Some engineering team leadership or subcontractor project management desired.
Minimum Experience
Eight years of aircrew training system or flight simulation device experience (support, modification and updates) with military/Department of Defense engineering standards including specification and configuration management practices or equivalent education. Experience in related Systems Engineering projects would be an acceptable substitute, but must include DOD work in life-cycle engineering activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and delivery of hardware and software systems. This can include work as an engineering subcontract manager as well. Experience should also include working with customers to gain system acceptance, based on requirements.
