Job Summary:
Insight is seeking a Gym Attendant who will kindly greet all incoming customers, and direct them in-person or by the phone to the proper areas to maximize their customer experience. This person will ensure that the flow of customers moves smoothly and will maintain a neat and clean work area at all times. The Gym Attendant will also check members in and out, answer incoming calls in a friendly manner, complete Point-Of-Sale transactions, fold towels and laundry as needed, regularly monitor our sports equipment, and assist with other basic membership duties as needed.

Duties:
* Remains attentive; greets all members and guests that enter the facility
* Ensures that all members and guests stop at the Front Desk to check-in or are directed to the proper department
* Assist with membership duties; answering questions, providing membership information, opening member accounts, providing and accepting forms such as bridging, payment information change, cancellations, etc.
* Process point of sale transactions

Qualifications:

Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

We get three shipments a week and need help getting all of the supplies put away and organized. Filling large ingredient bins with supplies is also a big part of this job. Because we sell so many cookies, we fold lots of pink boxes and although it won't be your main focus, you'll often help with this as well.
In this role, it is important to stay on task and work efficiently without constant supervision. It is required to lift up to 50 lbs in order to wash mixing bowls and put away large bags of flour and sugar.

Works with the parent and the assigned foster care provider to develop the Parent Agency Agreement/Treatment Plan (PAATP) tailored to the needs of the client, children and court expectations;
Assists parents by providing support, empathy and information about the foster care system, courts, services, etc;
Provide a sense of hope and inspiration through encouragement, outreach, and connecting parents with resources;
On a monthly basis, reports on dates and times of each contact and the nature of the contact, a summary of the family contacts with regard to family progress toward reunification goals, any issues of concerns related to the family, child placing agencies, courts, services, etc.;
Accompanies parents to court proceedings, Family Team Meetings, treatment recovery, other agency required meetings, other gatherings with parents, etc. for the purposes of support and advocacy of the parents' rights;
Along with the parent, interacts with child placing agency staff to see that clients are receiving appropriate services in a timely manner;
Collaborate with Parent Partner team including the Parent Partner Supervisor and/or Program Manager, child welfare case worker, planning committees, and others;
Meet with DHS caseworker periodically during the duration of services, as needed or requested by the family;
Assists in mediating conflicts between the assigned foster care worker and the client as needed;
Assists in providing child placing agency staff with a more thorough understanding of birth parents' experiences in the child welfare system by providing in-service trainings for staff and through regular contact with child placing agency staff;
Requests re-assignment if there is a conflict or concern (including if he/she knows the birth family or lives in close proximity;
Provides self-advocacy and empowerment skills to all referred parents on navigating through the system;
Help maintain connections between parents and children by observing and advocating for children and family rights;
Participates in required trainings.
Attend all scheduled team meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Personal experience with the child welfare system resulting in successful reunification with children and dismissal of wardship.
Have been reunited with child(ren) for at least one year. Training may be started after six months of reunification.
Sensitive to the concerns of parents, and able to establish rapport effectively.
Have a healthy and stable family situations with no current CPS substantiation or safety issues.
Experience dealing with the court system and an ability to assist others in navigating the child welfare system.
Computer literate. The ability to work in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Cultural competence
The ability and expectation to work a flexible work schedule including non- standard hours such as evenings and weekends and to be available to families 24/7.
The ability to work with child welfare staff.

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan serves as a common solicitor, storehouse and distributor of food on behalf of its Partner Agencies which are non-profit, charitable organizations serving those in need.
Today the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan provides over 40 million pounds of food each year to those in need through more than 700 partner agencies. Partner Agencies consist of local soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries who strive to feed the more than 300,000 people in Eastern Michigan who are food insecure. The excellent relationships established within the Food Bank's 22 county service area and throughout the state has allowed for numerous programs and initiatives to help fight hunger.
Job Description
This position will pick up and deliver food and other needed products throughout Eastern Michigan and represent the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to major food companies, agency partners, and other stakeholders, while maintaining safe food handling practices and complying with Feeding America & AIB/ Safe food Handling Practices & procedures. This position is also responsible for providing excellent customer service to all internal team members and other stakeholders of the organization. All activities will support the organization's mission, culture, and strategic plan objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create and maintain a positive work environment in alignment with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan core values.
Execute product donation pick-ups and deliveries in a timely and professional manner, including long-distance driving as required.
Build and maintain positive relationships with donors and their staff to encourage ongoing support and collaboration.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate vehicle operation and maintenance records, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Safely load and unload company vehicles; practice proper lifting techniques at all times.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractor/trailer equipment; promptly report any issues to the Logistics Coordinator and Transportation Manager.
Serve as a back-up driver for Class B routes, as directed by the Transportation Manager.
Accurately complete all required documentation related to shipping, receiving, unloading, and warehousing, in accordance with FBEM policies and procedures.
Inspect donated products to ensure they meet safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and medical cards in compliance with federal, state, and FBEM regulations.
Work effectively with stakeholders from diverse populations while displaying sensitivity, understanding and acceptance of others.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in maintaining an orderly and sanitary warehouse
Assist other drivers/warehouse staff with their responsibilities, as directed by the Transportation and/or Warehouse Manager
Perform duties in accordance with FBEM safety policy and applicable guidelines
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUREMENTS
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Current Michigan CDL Class A
Current and maintained DOT/Medical Card
Must successfully complete internal training for Serv Safe and Civil Rights and recertify as certifications expire.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Professional truck driving experience preferred
Able to perform heavy lifting, loading, and unloading as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Proven ability to work steadily and independently with minimum supervision and to follow standardized procedures
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records
Add, subtract, multiply and divide units of weight successfully; compute ratio, rate, and percentages
Write reports and record transactions with proper format and legibility.
Ability to be flexible with changing assignments and work schedule
Ability to understand and comply with Feeding America & AIB/ Safe Food Handling Practices & Procedures

WORKING CONDITIONS:
On-the-road with frequent stops at agencies, suppliers, and donors. Working in all weather conditions on truck lift gates, parking lots, docks, and in donor/supplier warehouses and store back-ends.
The work environment is situated in a warehouse setting, characterized by extensive walking on concrete surfaces. Depending on the season, employees may experience sweltering heat during the summer months and bitter cold during the winter. Additionally, they may frequently enter and exit freezers and coolers, encountering extreme temperature fluctuations. The workspace can be dusty at times and occasionally noisy due to the movement of motorized vehicles within the facility. On occasion, employees may be required to work outdoors, potentially exposed to various weather conditions.
Furthermore, the nature of the job exposes employees to spoiled food and sharp objects due to handling damaged products. The tasks primarily involve the movement of boxes, requiring employees to lift objects weighing between 25 to 40 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, and manage objects up to 75 pounds using warehouse equipment. Manual pallet jacks are used, necessitating the ability to push and pull pallets exceeding 2,000 pounds.
Employees may be required to work evenings and weekends, especially for special events and projects.
