Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group has an opening for the Medical Physics Residency Program in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. The residency program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP). The program provides structured training and progress assessment in all aspects of clinical medical physics in diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine, with direct supervision by the medical physics faculty. Training occurs in 15 regional hospitals and affiliated medical offices across Southern California. The curriculum provides comprehensive, mentored, hands-on experience, and progressive responsibility providing the opportunity to work towards becoming fully independent upon completion of the program. The medical physics resident will be expected to work in this training position for 3 years to qualify for both ABR Diagnostic and Nuclear Medical Physics certification exams. Essential Responsibilities: Under supervision, performs acceptance testing on all types of radiological imaging equipment to meet new equipment specifications and baseline image quality assurance metrics. Under supervision, performs radiation dosimetry calculations and computerized data analysis. Support clinical medical physics of diagnostic imaging modalities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Assist with clinical support as well as health system staff training and education. Assist with administrative efforts with regards to inspections and regulations. Fulfill duties as assigned, including proper and complete documentation of clinical projects and clinical rotations. At Vantor, you'll work with the U.S. Space Force and our partners as part of the effort to define and manage an integrated system-of-systems space enterprise, specifically focused on Space Systems Command's (SSC) Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO). You will be supporting the SSC BNN office, working to achieve Global Mission Data Dominance (GMDD) by bringing together critical capabilities to empower operators with the information and tools they need to achieve sensor-to-shooter dominance - rapidly detecting threats, sharing critical information, and enabling swift and decisive action. As part of this role, you will: Support Gov Lead with technical coordination and systems engineering for SSC's I3E contract (Integrated, Immersive, Intelligent Environment) Support meetings and architecture discussions with the development contractors and onboarding mission use cases Develop and track program metrics, risks, and deliverables Lead, coordinate, task the SE&I team as the GOV Lead's touchpoint Reporting to program's BNN/BN Task Lead for MSR, TSM, and Award Fee inputs Join our team and create the future of SSIO in the Space Force. Basic Qualifications: US citizenship Current Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline 3+ years of experience working on a space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Program 1+ years of experience with artificial intelligence applications or Department of Defense cloud system development (Azure preferred) Experience mapping system requirements to physical and functional architecture and conducting configuration management of system configurations Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, inter-service support agreements, system behavior diagrams, sequence diagrams, and network diagrams Experience communicating technical concepts to users, leaders, and engineers Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Knowledge of DevSecOps and agile software development Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2 Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of Data Architecture experience supporting space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system), aerospace systems or Major Defense Acquisition Programs Experience with conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs) Experience with high complexity data systems and data management Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space systems Knowledge of Air Force ISP Guide, JCIDS Manual, CJCSI 5123.01G, DODI 8330.01, AFMAN 33‐407 and DODAF Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 and DoD risk management processes Ability to be self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission TS/SCI clearance INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) Master's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline Clearance: Active Secret Work Location: El Segundo, CA.
