The Per Diem Behavior Technician will provide ABA therapy to children ages 2-12 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental and language delays in a center setting. They will be expected to work a per diem or as needed schedule that can vary weekly. Key Responsibilities: Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients Follow the prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plan Collect and record data Write therapy note for each session using an electronic medical records system Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding the client's progress as instructed by the child's assigned Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials as instructed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment Maintain client safety and confidentiality Maintain and acquire functional and technical knowledge by attending required trainings Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and follow the guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Contribute to a positive working environment Requirements Per Diem Behavior Technician Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree required (High School Diploma with RBT certification and experience can be used in lieu of 4 year degree) RBT certification At least 6 months of experience working in ABA as a behavior technician CPR certification Strong verbal and written communication skills.
