board-certified full-time
Hematopathologist with experience in surgical pathology. CAP accredited, 20k sq ft state of the art clinical lab, advanced technologies, services we provide to FCS physicians include molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, histology, clinical chemistry. Routine laboratory tests are collected at each Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) site and transported daily to our central laboratory facility for expert analysis and evaluation. FCS clinicians have immediate access to all testing results, usually within 24 hours, which informs timely treatment decisions. Our highly skilled pathologists are in constant communication with physicians for consultation and to coordinate more specialized testing, when needed.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Analyzing various pathology cases including bone marrow, peripheral blood, and surgical pathology cases.
Determine and request appropriate ancillary testing as needed to complete diagnosis.
Additional responsibilities may be needed determined by workload.
Ensure proper diagnosis and treatment of patients in an out-patient clinic setting.
Provide guidance to the medical oncologists as needed.

Job Description Summary:
Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic.
The job of Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into "stations." Each station has a distinct set of job duties, which includes job duties that usually are performed by one employee in a usual day. However, in addition to the "usual" duties of the station they are sitting in, every PSS employee is required and expected to assist their co-workers in performing every job duty of a PSS at all times. All employees hired for the Patient Services Specialist position will be expected to learn and perform all duties of all front office stations.
Due to the different office layouts, the person doing the named station that day or week may not perform some of the listed job duties. Demonstrated strong copywriting and editing skills are essential. Requires attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet time-sensitive priorities. RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary:
PET/CT Technologists care for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic medical images for interpretation at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Other responsibility includes EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all PET examinations. Complies with ALARA and all regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate patient care.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment under the direction/supervision of a physician
Calculate or measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of using a computer following the physician's prescription.
Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies using a camera to produce photographic or computer images.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist them during test procedures.
Produce a quality computerized generated image for interpretation by a physician.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment, PET/CT scanners, dose calibrator and all other radiology equipment, devices, etc.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
Gather and document information on patients' current conditions and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures.
Utilize CT Scanner to produce cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues based on proper protocols
Screen and safely administer iodinated contrast intravenously while using CT equipment under the direction of a physician
Start and discontinue IV site for iodinated contrast (when applicable)
Maintain a clean work environment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
Satisfactory Completed formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training in an AMA-approved school preferred.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required
Registry-eligible graduates must obtain certification within one year of hire. ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within two years of hire.
State CRT license
ARRT Certification in CT / BLS Certification (Required)
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in Nuclear Medicine and CT preferred
Experience with PET/CT Oncology imaging preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS

Summary:Schedule: Sun - Thurs or Tues - Sat, Day shift
Works independently with general supervision, demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of lab test menu and analyses, established and productive contributor of the following procedures: culture initiation, harvest, metaphase and interphase slide prep, and G-banding of bone marrow and peripheral blood specimens, performs computer-assisted and manual analysis of chromosomes for the detection of abnormalities; performs FISH processing and analysis using automated software; operates and maintains laboratory equipment needed to perform daily duties; performs daily QA/QC tasks, assists with training new employees and trainees.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs Cytogenetic and FISH lab processes of bone marrow and peripheral blood specimens
Practices universal precautions for the handling of body fluids
Prepares reagents, stains, and media in accordance with laboratory protocol
Observes principles of sterile technique in carrying out daily responsibilities including the proper cleaning and decontamination of work surfaces, equipment, and instruments
Maintains all company equipment in a safe and working order
Monitors daily QC readings of equipment
Performs culture initiation, harvesting, slide preparation, and G-banding for Cytogenetic analysis
Assists in maintaining an adequate stock of commonly used supplies
Keeps work area and records in a neat and orderly manner
Direct harvesting of bone marrow and peripheral blood hematologic specimens for FISH analysis
Slide preparation of interphase nuclei
Applies probe, denaturing and hybridizing of FISH slides
Post washes FISH slides
Analyzes G-banded metaphase spreads using ASI automated imaging system; Performs automated FISH analysis using MetaSystems software
Required to analyze at least 8 half Cytogenetic cases within an 8 hr. workday when no other tasks assigned
Perform analysis with 98% accuracy
Loads and unloads G-banded slides and capture metaphases using the ASI automated capturing system
Loads and unloads slides on the automated FISH scanner for capturing of interphase cells
Analyzes heme suspension probe sets (including but not limited to BCR/ABL, AML panel, CLL panel, MDS panel, and MM panel) using MetaSystems FISH automated imaging system
Analyzes both heme suspension and tissues manually using fluorescence microscope
Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Ensures proper equipment maintenance, orders, and receives reagents, validates new lots/shipments of reagents/probes, ensures proper documentation on forms
Participates in performing validations, quality control evaluation, writing procedures, troubleshooting equipment and procedures, and performance improvement
Assists in identifying ways in which laboratory procedures and activities can be modified to improve upon current methodologies
Participates in the development and/or maintenance of SOPs and master forms as required
Participates in CAP proficiency surveys twice a year
Assists in the training of new employees and trainees in accordance with department protocols and company guidelines
Maintains and always ensures the confidentiality of all patient and employee information
Complies with all Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to patient care, patient rights, safety, billing, human resources, and collections. Adhere to all Company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan
Complies with quality control policies and procedures to ensure that all aspects of laboratory operations are performed in accordance with accepted standards and applicable laws for clinical laboratories
Attends in-services, reads professional literature, and participates in educational programs and activities to remain abreast of developments in the field of Genetics
Assists with additional tasks as needed to support the team
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Molecular or related field
ASCP certification required
State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in the area pertinent to the testing being performed

Summary:
The Associate Director of Clinical Specialty Pharmacy Operations is responsible for developing and leading multiple operational aspects of Rx To Go. This critical role is accountable for collaborating with the Director and transforming teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure a patient-centric and cost-effective operational model for Rx To Go.
This includes overseeing the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and support, and managing the pharmacy's budget and resources. This role also plays a key role in developing and implementing new programs and services, as well as training and developing pharmacy staff.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
Leads team of pharmacists that perform the clinical desktop review and verify the following: Accurate data entry, Review of all clinical, quality, and drug utilization review (DUR) alerts, Appropriate medication, dose, strength, directions, quantity, and safety.
Develop and implement new clinical programs and services based upon clinical trial requirements to meet the needs of FCS patients, providers, and external stakeholders.
Train and develop pharmacy staff and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent patient care.
Work closely with other departments within the healthcare organization, such as clinical services, finance, and marketing, to ensure that the pharmacy is meeting its goals and objectives.
Operational hours, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm
Travel to clinics as required
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Pharm D or BPharm required
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
Active Florida Pharmacist license required.
Active Pharmacist license in additional jurisdictions as assigned.

Job Description Summary:
Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic.
The job of Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into "stations." Each station has a distinct set of job duties, which includes job duties that usually are performed by one employee in a usual day. However, in addition to the "usual" duties of the station they are sitting in, every PSS employee is required and expected to assist their co-workers in performing every job duty of a PSS at all times. All employees hired for the Patient Services Specialist position will be expected to learn and perform all duties of all front office stations.
Due to the different office layouts, the person doing the named station that day or week may not perform some of the listed job duties. Demonstrated strong copywriting and editing skills are essential. Requires attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet time-sensitive priorities. Must be highly organized with the ability to be flexible, according to changing priorities.

Position Summary:
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 6AM - 2:30PM
Responsible for daily specimen processing in the designated laboratory, including technical and non-technical duties.
Communicates with staff physicians and other staff employees regarding patient's specimen.
Works with management personnel to ensure efficient and technically correct systems and procedures in the laboratory that includes QA/QC of reagents, instrumentation, proficiency testing, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, molecular or related field and/ or successful completion of a medical technology or related field Training program and has a minimum 1 year of related experience in the designated laboratory specialty is preferred.
Experience may be substituted for education as described by State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel Statutes.
Laboratory license in the designated area(s) is required, ASCP is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the performance of the research study under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator and the research director.
The research coordinator is responsible for the overall successful implementation and ongoing site management of the research studies.
May be responsible for providing coverage in clinics when research staff are out of the office; for precepting new research staff in clinics; for assisting with research projects assigned by the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator III.

Summary:
PET/CT Technologists care for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic medical images for interpretation at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Other responsibility includes EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all PET examinations. Complies with ALARA and all regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate patient care.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment under the direction/supervision of a physician
Calculate or measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of using a computer following the physician's prescription.
Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies using a camera to produce photographic or computer images.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist them during test procedures.
Produce a quality computerized generated image for interpretation by a physician.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment, PET/CT scanners, dose calibrator and all other radiology equipment, devices, etc.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
Gather and document information on patients' current conditions and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures.
Utilize CT Scanner to produce cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues based on proper protocols
Screen and safely administer iodinated contrast intravenously while using CT equipment under the direction of a physician
Start and discontinue IV site for iodinated contrast (when applicable)
Maintain a clean work environment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
Satisfactory Completed formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training in an AMA-approved school preferred.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required
Registry-eligible graduates must obtain certification within one year of hire. ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within two years of hire.
State CRT license
ARRT Certification in CT / BLS Certification (Required)
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in Nuclear Medicine and CT preferred
Experience with PET/CT Oncology imaging preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with various tasks for the clinical research department.
Provide clinical and clerical support to clinical Research Coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of medical/clinical work experience with oncology experience preferred.
Must be proficient with computer software such as Excel, Word and OncoEMR.
Attention to detail.
Fluency in the English language
strong communication skills to interact with a wide variety of personalities.
Valid Florida Drivers License for travel between clinics is required.
