HIGHLIGHTS
FCS is expanding its team of medical oncologists and hematologists at our Brownwood location. We are looking for a board-certified/eligible outpatient physician. This is an excellent full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient-and community-centered care.
The Villages is a large master-planned community in Central Florida, one hour west of Orlando and a little over an hour northeast of Tampa. The area offers a peaceful and close-knit community, boasting natural surroundings and ample opportunities for outdoor activities. It is also between two large airports, Orlando and Tampa.
The Brownwood clinic is a well-established location, open for 15 years. Fellows are eligible to apply. The physician group is comprised of nine physicians.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist.
This is an excellent full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient-and community-centered care.
Candidates' responsibilities include out-patient clinics, clinical research, and chemo supervision.
Candidates' responsibilities will include managing malignant cancers and making benign hematology diagnoses.

Summary:
PET Nuclear Medicine Technologists care for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic medical images for interpretation at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsibility includes EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all PET examinations. Complies with ALARA and all regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate patient care.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment under the direction of a physician
Calculate, measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of using a computer following the physician's prescription.
Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies using a camera to produce photographic or computer images.
Gather information on patients' illnesses and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures for therapy.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist them during test procedures.
Produce a computer-generated or film image for interpretation by a physician.
Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment or cameras.
Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Maintains a clean work environment.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
Satisfactory Completed formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training in an AMA-approved school preferred.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required
Registry-eligible graduates must obtain certification within one year of hire. ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within two years of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the Patient Financial Navigators in the Regions/Clinics assigned and reviews their performance of Managed Care duties and patient collections.
Responsible for providing training regarding Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) collection policies and procedures to Patient Financial Navigators staff.
Maintain and approve Managed Care employee staffing and payroll for Regions assigned.

summary:
Under the direction of the Medical Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist calculate computerized isodose plans for radiation oncology patients. Compute standard dose calculations and determine computerized generation of isodose curves for radiation treatment programs. Calculate treatment machine settings, document calculations, and record treatment data in therapy chart.
In addition, under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics, lead in:
Developing standard operating procedures to help maintain quality and patient safety throughout all clinics:
Contouring templates
Dose templates
Proper dose tolerances being measured

Standard naming conventions
Increase efficiency by determining the best clinical workflow with use of automation and templates. Help with scheduling staff/resources to specific projects. Ensure standard operating procedures are being followed throughout clinics. Lead the dosimetry team in generating complex treatment plans unique to every patient Development of new dosimetrist processes and procedures
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide input on performance of dosimetry staff in an ongoing and annual basis. Assist in providing oversight of dosimetric operations to ensure smooth and efficient support of clinics. Mentor dosimetry staff development as an experienced and knowledgeable resource. Provide support and direction on complex treatment planning cases. Provide treatment-planning instruction to staff, residents, and students as required. Facilitate in-house education in the area of current treatment planning techniques and advances in medical dosimetry. Help with staffing and training of new dosimetrist hires. Contribute to positive outcomes of patient under treatment by promoting and maintaining quality dosimetry services in all clinics under the direction of the Medical Physics Director. Monitor dosimetry operations for safety and accident prevention. Keep records and prepare director's report. Provide assistance to director in maintaining quality assurance for all treatment planning systems. Assist in localization procedures, using CT or conventional radiographic techniques. Obtain patient contours and assist in outlining of anatomical structures and the target volume in three dimensions. Register PET/CT or MRI images with our simulation CT's to create extremely accurate, deformable fusion/registration. Become and remain proficient in Intense Modulation Radiation Therapy (IMRT). Discuss with the physician the aim of the treatment, including planned tumor dose and maximum acceptable doses to normal tissue. Generate isodose distributions via computer and performs calculations for the accurate delivery of the prescribed dose. Presents these to the physician and discusses alternatives. Label plans with anatomical directions. Calculate required treatment time or monitor setting for delivery of prescribed dose. Prepare treatment aids and beam modifying devices, including head holders, molds, shields, cradles, compensators, and others as needed. Assist in verification of treatment plans through treatment simulation using CT or conventional radiographic techniques. Assist the therapist staff in the implementation of treatment plans. Enter treatment parameters in record/verify system. Assist in routine quality control program to include weekly chart checks, chart rounds, etc. Ensuring standard operating procedures are being followed throughout clinics Participate in clinical research for the development and implementation of new treatment techniques. Assist in record keeping and documentation of treatment parameters for all patients undergoing radiation therapy. Maintain inventory of radioactive substances. Correctly load and unload radioactive substances into designated devices as prescribed by a physician. Assist in localization procedures of intracavitary or interstitial sources or seeds. Document and perform patient billing information accurately and in a timely manner. Incorporate compliance with department and state policies and procedures into patient care and treatment planning. Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all patient and employee information at all times. Expected to work at any Company location to help meet Company business needs. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Associate degree is required (bachelor's or master's degree in medical dosimetry are preferred)
Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
EXPERIENCE:
At least ten years of full-time dosimetry experience.
Teaching experience of other dosimetrists including leading medical dosimetry program.
Experience with dosimetry project implementation.

Job Description Summary:
Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic.
The job of Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into “stations.” Each station has a distinct set of job duties, which includes job duties that are performed by one employee on a typical day. However, in addition to the “usual” duties of the station they are sitting in, every PSS employee is required and expected to assist their co-workers in performing every job duty of a PSS at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Dosimetrist, Radiation Therapy Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Therapist will treat cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments according to treatment plan.
The Radiation Therapist must maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions with strict adherence to safety responsibilities and guidelines.

The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist will serve as a member of the central services team where our focus is to deliver best-in-class pharmaceutical support to all clinical staff throughout the organization. As a member of the Pharmacy Operations team, the incumbent will ensure delivery of therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, medication information, education, and performance improvement that ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy.
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services, the Clinical Oncology Pharmacist works collaboratively with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to provide quality patient care appropriate for the patient's oncologic diagnosis, prescribed treatment, age group and other identified needs. The pharmacist coordinates the drug therapy process on Hematology/Oncology patient population which may include any of the following activities but is not limited to drug selection (including the use of genetic/biomarker testing in the drug selection process), drug information, dosing, monitoring, outcomes management, retrospective drug utilization monitoring and compliance. Provides support for the development of the new regimen builds and inquiries.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
KPA 1 - Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Support
* Provides timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other members of the organization. Travel to clinics within an assigned region in Florida will be required.
* Delivers up to date drug information on new approved therapies in the oncology space as well as other biologic therapies.
* Applies current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles for the selection and use of drug products in a clinical setting to meet the therapeutic needs of a patient.
* Provides senior clinical support and education to other members of the department in correlation with operational projects and objectives.
KPA 2 - Pharmacoinformatics
* Reviews drug utilization reports alongside other corresponding data to identify areas of need or improvement as it applies to appropriate usage and best health outcomes.
* Develops action plans to address issues of under/over utilization according to approved indications, NCCN Guidelines, formulary, etc.
* Develops metrics related to pharmacy data, clinical data, cost data, and functional data that can be applied to improve clinical outcomes, cost control, and overall system usage.
KPA 3 - Advances the Practice of Oncology Pharmacy
* Assesses changes or need to make changes to improve care of oncology patients or for a topic for advancing the pharmacy profession or oncology pharmacy.
* Contributes to the Pharmacy Operations team and applicable committees by providing clinical leadership.
* Participates in local, state, or national pharmacy organizations and further implements improvement strategies that align with the goals of the department.
KPA 4 - Participate and Promote Quality Assurance
* Assists with medication order set development to assure safe, complete, and accurate medication ordering and administration and appropriate medication use.
* Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement and maintain continuous quality improvement strategies that mitigate the risk of drug errors.
KPA 5 - Project Management
* Executes project activities in accordance with established schedules, milestones, and processes to ensure that all projects are well scoped, well documented, and completed on time and within budget of the project in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description Summary:
Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic.
The job of Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into “stations.” Each station has a distinct set of job duties, which includes job duties that are usually performed by one employee in a typical day. However, in addition to the “usual” duties of the station they are sitting in, every PSS employee is required and expected to assist their co-workers in performing every job duty of a PSS at all times. All employees hired for the Patient Services Specialist position will be expected to learn and perform all duties of all front office stations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately interpret physician orders; administer contrast materials; and prepare and operate CT Scan equipment to ensure proper images are obtained.
Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid Florida CRT is required.
ARRT Certification in (R) (CT) preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as CT Scan Technologist is preferred.
A valid AHA BLS certification is required.
Fluency in the English language
excellent oral and written communication skills is essential.
Accurate, proficient computer skills needed (EMR, Data Entry...)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures.
Support clinic nurse, responsible for chart prep functions and phlebotomy.
Responsible for all duties of Medical Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician's office. -
Ability to perform venipuncture. -
BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
