Manage maintenance activities that occur and report problems with recommendations to the Production and Maintenance teams promptly. Maintain organization with parts and supplies. Maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all machinery is working at top performance. Ensure all safety procedures are being followed (lockout tag-out, Haz-mat, confined space). Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) rules and regulations. Regularly inspect equipment and facility and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as necessary. Direct, coach, train, and develop front-line employees Assist with hands on repairs and maintenance of blending, filling and packaging equipment, as required. Coordinate the installation and testing of new production related equipment. Assist with facility maintenance and facility contractors as necessary. Understand the facility's Pre-requisite and Food Safety Programs, including but not limited to Food Defense, BBP, Glass, and Brittle Plastic, Chemical Control, GMP, Allergen, Shipping, and Receiving, etc. Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies. Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation. Complete assigned Heath & Safety trainings. Perform other duties, as assigned.
