As Miami's primary public research university and one of the largest schools in the nation, Florida International University (FIU) offers over 200 degree programs and a rich student life. FIU's undergraduate and graduate academics lead to degrees in a highly diverse selection of subject areas. An example of these varied offerings include Anthropology, Architecture, Art History, Asian Studies, Business, Civil Engineering, Counselor Education, Dramatic Arts, Interior Design, Law Medicine, and Occupational Therapy. FIU has a priority deadline, with applications received on a rolling basis after that deadline. Students who apply after the priority deadline are accepted on a space-availability basis.
