POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hospital CFO is both accountable and responsible for all aspects of the revenue cycle and the hospital financial management for the assigned hospital(s). The position reports to the Regional Chief Revenue Officer/ Chief Financial Officer with an additional reporting relationship to the assigned local Hospital(s) President.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
The hospital CRO/CFO is accountable for ensuring all aspects of a fully optimized revenue cycle operation within the hospital setting including an advisory role to ensure financial statements are accurate and explained. The role is accountable for meeting Steward "Key Financial Metrics," and working to appropriately address metric variances.
· Accountable for overall revenue cycle, revenue integrity/quality, and ensuring all billing compliance and government regulations are followed.
· Accountable for appropriate and accurate daily charge capture by department, daily department revenue reconciliations, fixing rejected charges, and minimizing late charges.
· Accountable for oversight of denial management including edit worklists, root cause analysis, recommendations for process/system enhancements, and overall coaching and leading staff.
· To advise and collaborate with centralized financial reporting to explain variances and determine mitigating actions.
· The role oversees and is responsible for leading internal hospital departments and ensuring staffing levels are optimized across revenue cycle and may include Patient Access (Registration, Patient Financial Services, Referrals and Authorizations), Care Management (CM), Health Information Services (HIM) and Coding, Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDE), Revenue Integrity (RI) and Charging, Payer Auditing, Local Finance, and other areas as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Extensive experience in revenue cycle operations and payer reimbursement knowledge.
Requires analytic and technical skills, including a strong foundation of denial root cause analysis, escalating and presenting key revenue cycle issues, and proposing options to implement change.
Financial statement and balance sheet knowledge.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects through effective planning and time management.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Record and overall revenue cycle systems, Meditech experience helpful.
Sound verbal and written communication skills; outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to relate positively with hospital operations and Executive Leadership Team.

Successful completion a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemical Science, or Biological Science from an accredited institution, including at least 24 semester hours of academic science (6 hours in biological sciences and 6 hours in chemical sciences) and at least 12 months of training in a clinical laboratory of a hospital accredited by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), or a B.S. in Medical Technology, or an A.A. in Medical Laboratory Science with a full semester of Hospital Training. If the degree is from outside the U.S., an equivalency evaluation may be required to meet staff sign-off requirements.
Required licensures/certifications
State of Florida supervisor's license in one or all disciplines.

JOB SUMMARY
The Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) provides patient care in collaboration with specific surgeons face-to-face orcommunication devices such as phone or computer. Conducts surgical history/physical exams, orders and interprets diagnostic/lab tests and develops plan of care. Writes prescriptions, controlled substances per Delineation of Privileges. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Educator is responsible for facilitating the competent, safe, and humanistic practice of patient care delivery under the guidance of the Director of Educational Services. The incumbent works with the department leaders and the Manager to provide for the education of all staff with the goal of providing safe, quality care to the patients. The educator assists the Manager to assess, plan for, and design training to meet identified needs of the employees. Educator follows the training with appropriate levels of assessment. The clinical educator supports the patient education activities of the multidisciplinary team. The RN Educator assists employees with .edu, CE Broker, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
BS/BSN preferred
Current Florida Nursing License
BLS/ACLS and PALS Instructor (Holding current card) within 90 days
Critical and Clinical Care Teaching experience
Computer skills to support facility programs
Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills
Understanding of adult learning principals and instructional strategies

POSITION SUMMARY:
Shift Hours: Days 6am-6:30pm with rotating weekends
Prepares solutions, labels tubes and specimen containers, collects specimens and performs simple tests under supervision. Performs routine technical and clerical functions. May operate simple lab equipment under supervision. Processes anatomic pathology and cytology specimens. Assists pathologists as needed. Uses, maintains, and cleans laboratory equipment and uses protective equipment to protect form exposure to chemical, radiation and infectious hazards. Must be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients and for the clerical function of the laboratory including maintenance of all data processing equipment, processing and distribution of patient specimens, organization of laboratory test requests, charting of laboratory reports, and communication between nursing units and the laboratory. Assists students in the specific area for development of technical, clinical, and problem solving. Performs additional duties as needed and or assigned.
