The Controller will supervise the accounting teams and will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing general and operational accounting functions, GAAP compliance, and month-end/year-end close activities for financial reporting purposes. This role comes with a competitive base salary and an annual bonus! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and own month-end close process. Support the FP&A dept in preparation of financial statements by ensuring GAAP compliance and related commentary is complete and accurate. Coordinate year-end external audits. Review and support the GL team in processing internal payroll. Manage and review daily cash forecasting. Oversee operational accounting by ensuring physician payrolls, billings, collections, and payments are completed timely and accurately. Support AR and AP Managers in resolving operational issues. Directly manage the GL team. Assist with optimizing salesforce and NetSuite processes. Responsible for creating efficiencies, identifying issues, and delivering solutions. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting (master's in accounting/MBA preferred). CPA preferred, but not required, with a strong knowledge of current GAAP. Prior experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller preferably in a staffing company and/or professional services but open to other industries. Minimum of 7 years' work experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and/or audit. Excellent supervisory skills and experience. Maintains strong operational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a changing environment. NetSuite and/or Salesforce experience would be a big plus.
