Job Description
Human Resources Generalist role entails providing a comprehensive administrative support to day-to-day operations of human resources ensuring the efficient delivery of recruitment processes, internal communications, and accuracy of reports and also validates the accuracy of employee data records.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

Job DescriptionThe Student Services Coordinator is responsible for providing supportive services to students by managing student resources available both on and off campus, coordinating social and recreational activities throughout the academic year, supervising student campus organizations, and overseeing all other academic and non-academic activities. They administer programming, enhancing the quality of the learning environment by contributing to the educational experience that increases retention and fosters student success.
The Student Services Coordinator's goal is to facilitate student success by defining, coordinating, and implementing proactive retention strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals.
Minimum Requirements:
An associate's degree is required.

Over two years' experience working with students in higher education.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Engages in New Student Orientation, events, and scheduled meetings as requested.

Assesses all attendance and retention results, using the NUC University Retention Model in order to create programs and events that contribute to students' persistence and addresses their Social, Academic, Environmental and Emotional needs.
Uses the resources available to identify potential dropouts and coach them through their issue. The Student Services Coordinator will contact students identified as at risk and schedule coaching or advising sessions to offer support, information, resources and referrals.
Assist students with technology questions and concerns regarding the student portal, Microsoft 365 and Canvas.
Ensure student 100% completion of Canvas Orientation by the end of the first module.
Provides timely and consistent follow up through various forms of communication. Uses the Student Services Ticket System to track student case management and follow up within 24 hours.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and submit Tutoring Reports and Student Services Calendar and assessment reports as indicated by the Dean of Academic Affairs and/or the Executive Director.
Participates in the Retention efforts for Online Students as an Online Student Services Coach.
Provides the necessary resources needed for students, which includes orientation, advisement and referrals.
Ensures the campus complies with institution wide events, required guest speakers and other activities to include Constitution Day Activities, Bullying Awareness Activities, Domestic Violence Awareness Activities, Suicide Prevention Activities and other FTCCares program events in the year.
Provides leadership that motivates and creates a positive environment within the student body by chairing the student clubs, associations and other extracurricular activities, which are regulated by academic, fiscal, administrative principles and procedures.
Participates in the planning of the annual graduation ceremony.
Organizes student awards and ceremonies.
Support the Education Resource and Assessment Manager by proctoring Certification Exams and assisting with educational resource inventory and control.

Job Description
The Executive Coordinator is responsible for office administration and providing support to the FICPA President & CEO. This position also supports the business operations of the FICPA by executing a variety of office, administrative, and governance-related tasks.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Executive Support
* Serves as the administrative liaison between the President & CEO and association members.
* Maintains, coordinates, and schedules all CEO meetings, using individual judgment and strategy to maximize the CEO's time. This may include but is not limited to:
Preparing meeting materials
Conference room setup
Arrangement of food services
* Coordinates and plans the President & CEO's travel as necessary.
* Serves as the liaison between the Executive Team and department leaders.
* Maintains, prepares, and submits business expense reports.

* Assists the FICPA with other duties needed to help drive the vision of the FICPA, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values.
Governance
Serves as the Executive Liaison to Council, Board of Directors (BOD), and Finance committee.
Manage scheduling of governance meetings, preparing agendas and meeting materials, taking minutes, and completing follow-up actions.
Reviews, approves, and processes volunteer leader expense reports.
Responsible for the creation, distribution and posting online of all Board-related materials to keep board members well-informed in carrying out their duties.
Assist with the annual nominations process for the Institute's Council, Board, and standing committees.
Serves as the staff liaison to the Committee on Nominations and communicates between volunteer leaders and the executive staff at FICPA.
* In partnership with the President & CEO, ensures the Institute is adhering to and in compliance with the Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, and all governance policies and procedures.
Works with external legal counsel to file updated copies of governance documents if changes occur.
Assists the CEO and Board Chair to shape a strategic agenda for all board meetings.
* Oversees the planning and execution of both the Annual Meeting of the Membership and the Council Strategic Planning Retreat.
* Responsible for building and maintaining strong and productive relationships with a wide variety of diverse stakeholders.
Upholds the trust and integrity of the governance process.
Office Management
* Inventories, orders, and maintains office and kitchen supplies.
* Coordinates and schedules maintenance work orders and requests with property management for FICPA office spaces.
* Processes accounts payable for business operations and prepares deposits for accounts receivable.
Education Requirements:
* Graduation from high school or equivalent certificate.
Experience and Competencies:
* Two to five years of experience in office management, business administration, and/or C-level support or an equivalent combination of training and education.
* Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe).
* Experience working with a Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, and other volunteer external relationships in a highly professional manner.
* Familiarity with Association or not for profit entities is preferred.
* Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, make reasoned decisions, and multi-task.
* Strong initiative, analytical, and critical thinking with the ability to anticipate the needs of the President & CEO.
* Operate with strict confidentiality and a high level of discernment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

The School of Data, Mathematical, and Statistical Sciences (SDMSS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for two full-time, 9-month, tenure-earning assistant professor positions anticipated to begin August 2026.
The selected candidates will have demonstrated the ability to conduct high-quality research in Financial Mathematics or in the Mathematics of Imaging/Image Reconstruction. The latter is broadly defined, with applications of tools from areas such as Inverse Problems, Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), Functional Analysis, or Harmonic Analysis. Additionally, we are especially interested in individuals who can contribute through their research, teaching and service to the excellence of our academic community and foster an environment in which faculty, staff, and students are welcomed and can thrive. The instructional duties and service assignments are in accordance with the school's current equitable workload policy.
It is within this environment of excellence and growth that a major initiative is taking shape: The Department of Mathematics is currently undergoing a transformative merger with the Department of Statistics and Data Science to form the new School of Data, Mathematical, and Statistical Sciences (SDMSS). SDMSS is strategically positioned to become a nationally recognized prominent hub in quantitative sciences. As part of this exciting initiative, we are seeking two tenure-track faculty members specializing in Financial Mathematics or Mathematics of Imaging/Image Reconstruction broadly understood. These positions offer an extraordinary opportunity to contribute significantly to building the foundational pillars of our new, highly collaborative school.
Responsibilities
Pioneering Research: Drive high-impact, cutting-edge scholarly research in Financial Mathematics or Mathematics of Imaging/Image Reconstruction. Secure external funding and publish breakthroughs in leading journals to establish the school's global reputation.
Next-Generation Teaching & Mentorship: Design and deliver innovative curricula for undergraduate and graduate courses in core quantitative sciences and emerging disciplines. Mentor the next generation of thought leaders by advising graduate theses and supervising doctoral dissertations.
Catalytic Collaboration: Serve as a catalyst for interdisciplinary research, engaging deeply with faculty across UCF (including Engineering, Computer Science, Health Sciences, Biology, and Business).
Strategic Leadership: Play a direct role in shaping the future of the new school by actively contributing to university governance, serving on key committees, and providing leadership within professional organizations.
SDMSS faculty are committed to high-caliber research across a broad spectrum of pure and applied mathematics. Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree: A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

The Opportunity:
The Facilities Operations Department within Facilities and Business Operations is seeking to hire a Roof Technician. This role is responsible for providing essential support for the operational maintenance and sanitation of the campus in an effort to ensure a safe, functional, clean, efficient, and attractive living and learning environment. The position is responsible for troubleshooting issues, providing service, and responding to requests from customers and/or staff. At this level, the employee is required to have intermediate maintenance repair and replacement skills for building systems, including but not limited to roofing systems and building envelopes. This role also interacts with contractors performing roof and moisture barrier construction and repair.
Classification Title: Maintenance Technician II
Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs of defects found during PM or predictive maintenance (PDM).
Conduct corrective repairs to restore functionality when issues are reported by users.
Apply intermediate skills in roof repairs and building envelope maintenance.
Perform carpentry repairs to floors, doors, ceilings, windows, and walls.
Utilize intermediate skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general carpentry.
Complete painting work on interior and exterior surfaces, equipment, and building components.
Serve as a lead for work involving central shops, contractors, other zones, departments, or campus events.
Manage maintenance projects and perform advanced-level work to ensure timely completion.
Complete work orders promptly, recording labor hours, action codes, shop stock, and trade notes.
Document work performed and report any special conditions or issues requiring further attention.
Notify the supervisor of conditions needing attention and update work order status.
Report deficiencies related to maintenance, health, and sanitation.
Support compliance with university, local, state, and federal guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Assist with inventory control and security measures.
Participate in all required safety training classes.
Collaborate with other campus departments to support operations.
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting other Facilities Operations teams during personnel shortages or emergencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an approved apprenticeship program for multiple trades and 3 years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Intermediate skills and experience in roof repairs and building envelope systems, including diagnosing and repairing issues related to roofing, moisture barriers, and building integrity.
Proficiency in performing carpentry repairs to floors, doors, ceilings, windows, and walls, with attention to detail in maintaining structural integrity.
Knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical work, and painting, with the ability to complete tasks for both interior and exterior areas, equipment, and building components.
Experience with Integrated Work Management Systems (IWMS) or similar platforms for work order management including accurately recording labor hours, action codes, shop stock, and trade notes while documenting any special conditions or issues that require further attention.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to report deficiencies related to maintenance, health, and sanitation along with ensuring compliance with university, local, state, and federal guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Experience with inventory control and security through ensuring proper management and tracking of materials and supplies.
Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with various campus departments and teams to address facility needs and ensure smooth operations.
Commitment to safety protocols and a track record of promoting a safe work environment by participating in all required safety training.
Ability to work in outdoor conditions, within differing climates, and at different elevations.
Health Assessment Required:
UCF policy requires completion and passing of a physical exam for this position.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $17.64 to $23.60. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This vital role oversees staff responsible for medical coding, billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), and collections. The manager will implement processes to maximize revenue, ensure accurate billing, and educate providers on coding principles to maintain consistent cash flow.
This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
Responsibilities:
* Maximize Reimbursement: Perform detailed claims reviews to ensure accurate charting, appropriate use of CPT and DX codes, and proper modifier placement. Review daily schedules and lab manifests to ensure all billable visits are accounted for and correctly billed.
* Manage Claims Workflow: Supervise the claim audit and submission process for timeliness and accuracy. Oversee the resolution of claim denials, corrections, and insurance payment errors.
* Accounts Receivable (A/R) Focus: Review the monthly A/R report, actively follow up on 90+ aged claims, and prepare A/R and CPT usage reports as requested.
* Coding Audits & Training: Conduct ongoing provider chart audits and an annual Performance Improvement (PI) Coding review.
* Ensure Compliance: Provide guidance and training to medical providers on coding guidelines, billing practices, and proper documentation to ensure compliance with OIG, CMS, and other applicable government regulations.
* Support Clinicians: Serve as a resource for providers and clinical staff regarding coding and pricing issues. Distribute quick reference sheets to aid in diagnosis and CPT code selection.
* Manage Patient Finance: Oversee patient billing, statement generation, and collection processes for both medical and dental claims.
* Supervise Collections: Supervise student workers and staff to ensure effective collection of outstanding balances and copays (including those due for next-day appointments and telehealth services).
* Issue Resolution: Resolve patient billing questions and disputes as necessary.
* EHR System Management: Review all EHR software upgrades and enhancements for their impact on billing processes. Verify the correct function of statement processes, rule engines, and explosion codes.
* Stay Current: Maintain expertise by staying current with coding processes and policies through continuous training (AAPC, Medicare, SHS in-network resources, etc.) and obtaining necessary CEUs.
* Reimbursement Research: Research newly released or requested CPT codes and their reimbursement potential for SHS in-network plans.
* Other Duties: Perform other duties as required by the leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

* 4+ years of Medical Coding experience specifically within an outpatient healthcare setting.
* Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.

Experience with distributed systems, GPU computing, or cloud-based simulation environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiochemistry - nuclear chemistry. Of particular interest is expertise in separations chemistry, which may include (but not limited) to: rare earths separations related to critical mineral technologies, actinide separations for reasons related to energy, waste management, fuel processing and national security and nuclear forensics.
