About the Role

COMPENSATION
Placement on the District's Faculty Salary Schedule is dependent upon years of experience and level of education. The Inspector General is tasked with promoting the efficient and effective management of public funds and contracts at the California High-Speed Rail Authority by performing audits and investigations. The Office of the Inspector General is responsible for providing oversight related to the delivery of the high-speed rail project, as defined in Public Utilities Code, Section 187010(d). The CORE Wellness Mentor position is a key role in the Community Wellness Center focusing on providing an array of Peer services and engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The CORE Program Specialist delivers high quality peer support and recovery focused services that uphold the principles of dignity, autonomy, and community connection. Core responsibilities include:
Provide peer support through group facilitation and culturally relevant, educational, social, recreational, and vocational activities.
Promote the foundational principles of recovery including hope, empowerment, respect, social connection, self responsibility, and self determination.
Offer navigation support including information, referrals, and linkages to mental health services, community resources, and broader health systems.
Integrate wellness and recovery principles into all interactions and service delivery.
Engage participants in identifying and accessing community based supports that strengthen stability and wellness.
Provide coaching and mentoring that supports the development of recovery goals, personal wellness plans, and sustained progress toward self identified outcomes.
