Product Manager (Financial Systems)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
A critical component to enable cross-border is ensuring the accurate and automated flow of funds. Flow has built one of the world's leading end-to-end cross-border platforms, solving many complex problem areas such as payment, fraud, tax, duty, logistics, etc. With all these areas in play, there are many different complex use cases that impact how money flows from the customer to the merchant. The greatest impact our solution has for a merchant is to help increase cross-border revenue and cut operational costs. Therefore the most critical steps in the process are that the merchant gets accurate and timely and Flow can properly recognize money movement.
As we continue to invest in scaling the finance product to improve accuracy and streamline processes, Flow is looking for an experienced product manager to define the next generation of our financial system, including integrations with ERPs (Sage/Intacct), improve data management, reduce manual processes, and enhance internal controls. This person will own the entire product development process from setting the vision to execution. The role collaborates closely with a team of engineers, tech lead, and finance stakeholders to build the world's best cross border financial system
This role reports to the SVP of Product, Design, and Data and is based out of our Hoboken, NJ office with flexible remote work opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:Lead: Drive the discovery, strategy, prioritization, and execution of products for Flow's Financial Systems engineering teams Discover: Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of our clients' pain points to create and follow through on actionable products & strategies for solving financial accounting, systems, and workflow pain points internally and externally - all to serve our clients better.Define: Define and frame complex problems for the product engineering team and establish criteria for product success Solution: Identify great product opportunities and make recommendations about what the team should (or shouldn't) prioritize, with strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning Collaborate: Earn the respect of Flow engineers, designers, and stakeholders by working collaboratively and closely with each other to ensure great product solutions

You Have:A Bachelor's degree from an accredited UniversityAt least 4+ years in software/internet product management in a technical capacity Experience working in and integrating with financial accounting systems like Sage/Intacct and identifying critical requirements to ensure accuracy and performance of those systems.Ability to thrive in a startup agile environment Experience working closely with key stakeholders in finance, operations, client management, etc.Product experience in SaaS, client-facing tools, and/or global commerce is a huge plus
