Summary

What You'll Do

* Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses. Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
* Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and reports freight damage claims
* Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
* Process paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to; verify that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, apply the correct postage tape and label, follow customer shipping instructions and, insure the shipment when necessary
* Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
* Load common carrier and company vehicles
* Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
* Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
* Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed
* Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed
* Other duties as assigned

Position Overview

OBJECTIVE:

What You'll Do:
Lead and oversee the programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and hardware to monitor and control energy system equipment.
Provide leadership in the development and implementation of advanced design improvements for product quality, processing time, component lead time, construction design and product support.
Lead the creation of hardware and software specifications for substation projects. Prepare and review mechanical and electrical drawings

Provide technical expertise and oversight of site commissioning tests for FACTS and HVDC systems.
Prepare and review mechanical and electrical and system drawings.
Provide technical expertise and oversight of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and field/site acceptance tests (SAT). Create test plans and report results.
Monitor and track progress toward completion milestones and deadlines. Communicate progress toward the achievement of milestones and deadlines.

1.* Collaborate with customers, R&D, manufacturing, and sales to establish mutually agreed-upon specifications.
2.* Assist business management and marketing in determining trends in new product and process technology.
3.* Represent company at market-appropriate industry meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
4.* Participate directly in technical problem solving at the customer level.
5.* Keep abreast of developments in materials (fibers, nonwovens, films, adhesives, metals) and associated processing technology. Coordinate and contact vendors as needed.
6.* Suggest changes in manufacturing processes to improve process control, cost, quality, or efficiency.
7.* Work with production personnel to solve processing difficulties.
8.* Work with QC team members to review customer claims
9.* Must be proficient in design of experiment (DOE) and statistical analysis.
10.* Coordinate plant trials. Collect and analyze data.
11.* Analyze data, evaluate the results of suggested changes, draw conclusions and report accordingly. Perform verbal presentations.
12.* Create reports, graphs or other visuals to communicate trends and correct quality issues
13.* Aids with the purchase and installation of new process equipment.
14.* Maintain a high safety and health standard.
15.* All other duties as assigned by management, including:
a. Item setup to accurately capture cost and production throughput
b. Create set-up sheets to capture new processes for production
c. Provide feedback to customers when needed
