Cons of working at Flowers Foods
Temperature, either hot hot or cold cold. Training could be improved. Married to the job.
Flowers Foods benefits
vacations and PTO- no questions asked, they are yours and they honor them.
What do you like best about Flowers Foods's CEO and the leadership team?
They constantly keep in touch and try to improve. They are human and see us as human. You can't make everyone happy, but they try to be fair.
How would you improve Flowers Foods's culture?
I think training is as issue. An introduction to the facility as well as your specific day to day "class" would transition easier. Expectations and accountability took to long to suss out on my own.
How did you prepare for the Flowers Foods interview?
I was myself. Sought to enter a new field, applied entry level. They require a highschool diploma and you speak some English.
How does your compensation at Flowers Foods compare to the industry average?
Apparently it is lower than our peers, but to me, I think is pretty good. Two raises in 2 years, extra $1 at end of probation. Not bad.
What's the diversity at Flowers Foods like?
I think there is a profound language barrier. I think there are good people but beyond a hi, I may never know.
What brings you the most joy at Flowers Foods?
Every day is the same and no two days are alike. If you have a bad day, show up tomorrow and it's a blank slate.
