The Vice President of Research & Development oversees and manages all product innovation and development efforts across our baked foods portfolio. This role serves as the primary technical expert and strategic advisor to the commercial organization, translating scientific insights, technological advancements, and market intelligence into high-impact product solutions. * Receive and distribute to appropriate internal parties for review and handling legal process, including, but not limited to, garnishments, summons, demand letters, discovery requests and other legal or regulatory correspondence.
* Assist with executing training programs by researching topics, preparing materials, scheduling, and coordinating logistics for compliance and legal education sessions.
* Assist the contracts team in receiving, distributing and retaining contracts submitted for review. Act as additional master user of all contract life cycle management tools in use by the company.
* Assist in-house attorneys as requested to provide research and support on general corporate matters including compliance, litigation, employment, franchise law, advertising/marketing/branding, intellectual property, real estate, M&A, and other areas of corporate law practice.
* Collect and distribute legal department mail and packages to appropriate recipients daily. Also, pre- pare and send out U.S. mail, certified mail, express mail and packages as needed or requested by attorneys.
* Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
* 2 to 4 years' experience as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment.

* A paralegal studies certificate or degree from an accredited institution or comparable course of study
