Job Description The IR Technologist will provide support for various interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities will include performing procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Responsibilities Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis. Perform CT-guided biopsies, drains, and aspirations. Administer arthrograms for all joints. Carry out joint and spine injections/aspirations, including epidurals. Handle urology procedures, such as drains, stents, and nephrostomies. Execute ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations (FNAs). Manage biliary drains and indwelling/tunneled pleural/peritoneal catheters. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ARRT certification.
