The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Sunbelt Supply services to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Responds to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate service. Maintains a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Monitors and reviews customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Triple S products to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Responds to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate Triple S products. Maintains a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Monitors and reviews customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed. Develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales utilizing knowledge of core customers and Triple S product line. Responsible for profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales goals as a sales consultant for current core industries and emerging industries and markets; responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers.

Conducts on-site customer visits with new and existing customers. Manages sales volume with an existing group of customers, prospects successfully to expand the customer base.
Forecasts, prospects, and bids for new business to include customers, markets, and additional service opportunities.
Maintains existing and builds new customer partnerships. Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organization including end-users, Sunbelt and other resellers.
Shares market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization; establishes relationships and working partnerships.
Partners with customers, vendors, Credit, and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issues.
Identifies customer products needs and coordinates execution of orders.
May conduct negotiations with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers.
Assists in training or mentoring of associates.
A must…
4+ years of relevant experience in Industrial sales (Valve and Valve Automation Preferred) OR Experience in an engineering/maintenance role within an Industrial plant with understanding of valve automation.
Experience with making sales calls to end users and resellers in the power, process, pharmaceutical or semiconductor industry.
Knowledge of customer business needs.
Knowledge in Triple S type product line and core customers.

Summary of Responsibilities
The role of Capital Projects Inside Sales Account Manager focuses on managing manual valve sales efforts for large-scale EPC Capital Projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refining and LNG sectors. The Inside Sales Account Manager position will play a key role in driving revenue growth through sales and support of these large-scale projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Manage and grow sales for EPC based accounts.
Collaborate with outside sales, EPC procurement and engineering teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on project scope, technical specifications, timelines, and customer requirements.
Review and interpret bid packages, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure product selection and competitive pricing.
Develop detailed quotations and proposals, based on customer specifications, requirements and timeline.
Answer questions about products, as well as technical and commercial terms.
Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service-related issues.
Track and manage timelines using CRM tools and internal systems to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
Serve as primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, working with an internal support team to provide regular updates, address questions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, etc.) to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery within project schedules.
Develop relationships with customers, vendors and internal/external team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Inside Sales/Capital Project/Technical manual valve experience.
Experience with EPC's and Capital Projects.
Ability to review, comprehend and relay technical requirements received from the customer.
Qualifications
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally, 5-7 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Environmental Job Requirements
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
