The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities

Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting
Assist other technicians as required
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes
Experience with paint and industrial equipment
Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment
The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages
EDUCATION:
Previous pipeline experience preferred
NCCER Painter certification a plus
NACE certification a plus
