As an Environmental Services Aide II, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing the building areas according to established procedures; cleaning resident apartments and townhomes, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas. The EVS Aide II performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the facility in neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Shifts: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
Compensation: $16.50-19.10/hr based on experience

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Mops and buffs floors, vacuums carpets, spot cleans, and arranges furniture and equipment back in an orderly fashion after cleaning assigned resident units and public areas.
Completes daily cleaning work assignments in a timely manner. Under normal supervision, cleans each home in the appropriate time given.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacture's recommendations.
Completes work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Reports all safety hazards to the EVS Manager or Supervisor as appropriate.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
Minimum 6 months experience as an Environmental Services Aide or equivalent; experience in a health care environment preferred.
Ability to perform housekeeping duties.
Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment: buff and wax equipment, vacuum, hazardous chemicals and their safe handling
Comprehensive understanding of the English Language; must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Summary:
This position exists to accomplish work that does not fall under a specific routine, like floor care, carpet care, terminal cleaning, disaster or emergency cleaning, etc. The Project Technician is responsible for the improvement of the condition and appearance of the Hospital by using specific machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities And Duties:
1. Uses proper equipment, including: commercial vacuums, auto scrub machines, cord burnishes, buffers, upright scrubbing machines, mops, and other necessary equipment, tools, products, and supplies to complete daily assignments as needed.
2. Performs general operational maintenance on equipment i.e., checks, electrical cords, water levels in batteries, etc. Ensures all equipment is clean, safe, and is in good working condition. Follows all sign in/out procedures. Identifies maintenance needs, other than routine. Correctly reports and tags all broken equipment.
3. Performs cleaning other than would normally be considered routine, i.e., flood or disaster clean up, terminal cleaning, construction cleaning, etc.
4. Uses chemicals and cleaning agents safely and follows all MSDS guidelines and precautions. Follows all safety precautions.
5. Trains new employees in various methods of floor care, chemical and cleaning agents, and in safety protocols.

Performs the sitter role as requested
Identifies needed repairs to equipment or department and submits work orders for same
Maintains pre-hospital equipment in an organized clean manner and communicates with pre-hospital providers
Participates in ED staff meetings and ED Shared Governance

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for general maintenance, functionality, safety and upkeep of all facility-related equipment and property owned or operated by TCA Health, Inc., NFP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to the following);
Assures the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of all clinic property in accordance with OSHA guidelines including: restrooms, waiting areas, and exam rooms.
Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, strip and wax floors.
Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
Empties wastebaskets.
Replenishes restroom supplies.
