Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. General Purpose:
All Operators are responsible for safety, operational efficiencies, quality standards, preventive maintenance, sanitation and administrative support. 1. Capable to work in any of the functional areas within the facility, including CER Dryer Operator, HTST Operator, UFRO Operator, Evaporator Operator, Milk Receiver, & Packaging Operator.
2. Operator will be required to recertify in each functional area annually to ensure that operator is qualified to operate all necessary equipment.
3. Engaged in problem solving to assist in improving safety, quality, yields and productivity.
4. Engaged with focused improvement teams, safety team, quality team, etc. Must be a member of at least one team in support of continuous improvement for the plant.
5. Demonstrates a high level of safety and quality ownership coupled with a high degree of urgency.
6. Ensures safe operation through adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and procedures.
7. Ensures operational efficiencies: positioning work, setting up jobs, adjusting and operating equipment for proper functions and manufacture of product.

Under general direction, the Access Control Technician is responsible for supporting and managing the access control systems across the ENMU-Portales campus. This critical, line-level role reports directly to the Director of the Physical Plant and plays a key part in ensuring the security and accessibility of campus facilities.
The technician will be responsible for the oversight and maintenance of access control hardware, software, and related infrastructure, and will collaborate closely with departments such as the Department of Public Safety, Planning Services, Academic Affairs, and Residence Life to ensure facilities are accessible as needed.
This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically during regular business hours. However, the technician may be required to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in response to emergencies or other urgent situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor computerized access control systems (software) for all proximity card readers under the care and control of the ENMU-Portales campus
* Compile and maintain confidential employee information for access control programs.
* Modify employee and vendor access upon request and as appropriate.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the shift Sergeant or other senior officer, this employee performs general work, enforcing state and local laws and statutes, involving the patrol of an assigned area, traffic regulation and enforcement, accident, and crime scene investigation. An element of personal danger is involved and officers must be able to respond and react properly in varied emergency and stressful situations, exercising independent judgment in performance of duties. Other duties include writing reports, processing evidence, computer data entry, and use of related equipment. This position requires a willingness to work irregular hours, evening or night shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary to assure protection for the public.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deputy Director of Athletics for Internal Operations
Portales, NM
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and oversees the operation of the internal aspects of our athletics department at ENMU. This includes directly overseeing team services such as compliance, budgeting, equipment and supplies, team transportation and travel needs, team apparel services contract and fulfillment, strength and conditioning department, athletic training, camp scheduling and promotion, and all Lone Star Conference team-related requirements. The Deputy will also directly supervise select staff as determined by the Director of Athletics. This position will serve as a sport administrator for no less than two sports to be determined by the Director of Athletics. Also includes supporting facility operations and game management departments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as the second highest administrator in the ENMU Athletics Department and will act as the leader of the department in the absence of the Director of Athletics.
* Serve as a member of the athletic department administrative staff and senior management team. Maintain consistent communication with all administrative staff and sport coaches to provide optimal environment for sport team success.
* Collaborate with the Director of Athletics, the Athletics Business Coordinator, Head Coaches and other departmental leaders to assess budgetary needs and create an annual budget for review and approval by institutional leadership.
* Provide leadership and oversight of staff, including assigning and monitoring work, coaching and evaluating performance, supporting professional development, and ensuring compliance with university and departmental policies and goals.
* Collaborate with the Director of Athletics, the Athletics Business Coordinator, Head Coaches, other departmental leaders and the institution's business office to develop effective budget monitoring process for expenditures and revenue throughout the fiscal year.
* Oversee all aspects of team equipment and supplies. This includes all individual team equipment and apparel budgets, ordering, and planning within the overall budget and needs. Working with our vendor and apparel company to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Serve as the primary liaison with Adidas/Game One or the department's contracted apparel vendor.
* Similarly operate the individual team services budget. This requires effective planning of officials, NCAA or conference required services, and other team service items. Serve as the conference liaison to ensure our compliance with any of these department-related services.
* Supervise all team transportation needs, primarily involving bus transportation estimates, planning, and execution.
* Coordinate the strength and conditioning department to ensure it operates efficiently and serving our teams effectively. Meet consistently with staff to maintain its growth and development.
* Assist the athletic training department as needed in order to always support our teams and student-athletes.
* Accumulate summer camp schedules to ensure a strategic plan for optimal summer camps across the department and the institution.
