Summary
The Pump Mechanic will repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment.
Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment
Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment
Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
Read and understand an IOM and BOM
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Advanced mechanical aptitude required
3-5 years of experience working with rotating equipment (mainly pumps) including but not limited to API and ANSI Pumps, centrifugal and plunger pumps, all brands of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, H-pumps, gear boxes and rotary valves (Preferred)
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Experience with alignment methods and tools including laser alignment (Preferred)
Have the ability or learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals and posses ability to work with basic math
Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
Applicant must be customer driven
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Must have positive "can-do" attitude
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures and regulations
Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Set-up Mechanic sets up and maintains blanker presses in operation and all associated equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Changes, removes, dismantles, repairs, assembles, installs and adjusts a variety of equipment including dies, punches, rolls, curlers, liner, conveyor, sets oven temperature and monitors, post coater spraying unit, magazine, pumps, etc.

* Performs dimensional checks.

* Relieves Packer Operator.
* Completes required paperwork such as production logs, QA checks, scrap weight logs, etc.

What You'll Do:
Assemble, install, maintain, remove and competently inspect overhead, and underground facilities including conductors, cables, transformers, fixtures, structures and other associated equipment under immediate or general supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-100, or equivalent experience, shall be competent to perform work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts under general supervision. Assist with work on conductors and equipment energized at secondary voltages to 600 volts under immediate supervision of higher classification.
After completion of C100, or equivalent experience, test, de-energize and ground URD cable, Splice and terminate URD cable, and troubleshoot, repair and energize URD cable and equipment under immediate or general supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-200, or equivalent experience, shall be capable of working on conductors and equipment energized up to 600 volts under general supervision. Use volt meters, amp meters, ground meggers, continuity testers and other electrical test equipment associated with line work on voltages up to 600 volts.
After completion of C-200, or equivalent experience, may cover up stationary tied in (cannot transfer) primary conductors and equipment under direct supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-300, or equivalent experience, may cover up, transfer or move primary conductors and equipment under direct supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-400, or equivalent experience, perform the same duties as outlined in the B classification during the first TWELVE MONTHS. (Wording from LMB description - During the first twelve months in this classification (LMB) assist with work on energized lines, cables and equipment.
During this time frame, the employee should progress from direct supervision to immediate supervision as skill level dictates.
Also, shall be capable of replacing fuses and operate switching and sectionalizing devices energized at any voltage when working under general supervision.).
Build and erect equipment mountings (such as regulator and transformer platforms) and build overhead transformer installations.

We are currently seeking Industrial Machine Mechanics to join our 2nd Shift team. This hands-on role supports the operation and upkeep of our unique manufacturing equipment. Role Responsibilities
Mechanic I
Run assigned machines to meet daily production quotas.
Maintain proper machine settings and troubleshoot minor issues.
Make basic repairs to auto-pack units and mechanical components.
Clean machines and maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
Accurately record daily production numbers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mechanic II (Advanced Level)
Run more machines consistently (3-4 in Nails & Staples; full Wire Draw sections at 2:1 ratio).
Troubleshoot and repair with limited supervision.
Support broader production areas and mentor junior mechanics.
Qualifications
Mechanic I
High school diploma or GED preferred.
1-3 years of mechanical experience preferred (automotive, equipment repair, etc.).
Willingness to work well with others and learn new systems.
Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is a plus.
Mechanic II
1-5 years of mechanical experience preferred.
Six months or more of Mechanic I experience (internal or external).
Experience with SENCO machines preferred but not required.
Requirements
Ability to work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment 100% of the time.
Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions proficiently.
Must be able to obtain a material handling vehicle license.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, stoop, and carry up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment with exposure to noise, dirt, and fumes.
Must follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC is seeking motivated Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians for the Great Lakes Region. Candidates should enjoy travel and working in a dynamic, on-the-road environment.
Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians (CTCT) are a specialized position focused on cleaning package and field erected cooling tower equipment as directed by OBR Foremen and/or Superintendents. A CTCT should exhibit professionalism, positive attitude and technical competence while performing duties.
He/she must work diligently to assure cleaning quality and do not prevent the project from being completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to OBR quality standards.
This position may require extensive travel depending on project location.
ROLES/TASKS OF THE POSITION
Always work safely and follow OBR and customer safe work procedures. Look out for co-workers and others at the jobsite. Must stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
Perform pre and post-treatment activities and understand how to measure free chlorine level in cooling tower circulating water.
Operate a power washer.
Know the difference between different spray heads and when they should be used during cleaning activities.
Able to read and understand MSDS. Understand and practice safe chemical handling techniques.
Be environmentally conscious and notify Superintendent if an environmental issue arises.
Assists with daily and weekly Safety meetings
Complete Task Hazard Analysis Cards and other safety paperwork daily or other as required
Operate forklift, man lift or other equipment as directed by OBR Field Management (must have training credentials on person in order to perform this task).
Work at heights as needed while observing 100% tie-off when over 4' above lower elevation.
Additional tasks as assigned by Superintendent, Field and Area Managers, and Foremen
PREREQUISITES / REQUIREMENTS
Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
Valid Driver's License.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Score of a 2 or less in a DISA background screen.
