This position will provide configuration, testing, and general end user support to SuccessFactors Employee Central. The SuccessFactors Sr. Manager should have a deep, technical knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central, particularly including configuration. The Position is part of a small team who are responsible for implementing, administering, configuring, testing and maintaining Fluor's primary employee database; ensuring the system supports the business requirements for maintaining employee records globally and company-wide. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for creation of system maintenance and testing documentation. Responsibilities include: * Supporting SuccessFactors Employee Central through extensive knowledge, including configuration, business rules, and touchpoints with Recruiting, Onboarding and Compensation modules * Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, peers within HRIS, and IT as required, translating business requirements into documented and actionable technical solutions * Oversee and perform system configuration, upgrades, and enhancements for the Employee Central module * Create and monitor test documents, conduct module testing, including defect management, and work with business users for user acceptance testing * Partner with IT and Payroll to ensure accuracy and consistency between SuccessFactors and our SAP ECC 608 HR database. Responsibilities of the role will include: Maintaining long-term relationships with clients in civil infrastructure and mining by providing technical expertise, attending client and project meetings, managing client expectations, and supporting business development pursuits. Planning, budgeting and executing surface and subsurface field geologic and geotechnical exploration, and managing support staff required to execute investigations Perform geologic field reconnaissance and mapping for the identification of geologic hazards and site characterization; Provide support on the design and installation of ground water wells and geotechnical instrumentation (VWP's, inclinometers, transducers, etc.); Provide interpretation of site conditions including: geologic, geochemical, and geophysical data and preparing geotechnical and geologic reports; Developing geologic models for complex geologic site conditions; Conducting geologic research, and developing innovative ways to advance projects with the latest technologies; Performing liaison activities with regulatory agencies (local, state, and federal agencies) on behalf of our clients; Collaborating with geotechnical and structural engineers to develop robust dam designs. Preparation of project documentation including reports, project communications, and design drawings and report figures that are of a high professional standard. Written communication skills in the form of technical reports are a must. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or education. Professional licensure (PG/CEG/PE) required. Valid US driver's License required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or Geological Engineering (Master's preferred) Ideally, 10+ years of experience as a Geologist/Engineering Geologist including investigations. Experience with complex subsurface investigations including soil and rock core drilling Installation of piezometers and geotechnical instrumentation Willingness to travel regularly for domestic and international projects while conducting physically rigorous field geologic data collection in a variety of extreme terrain and weather conditions Ability to work on multiple project tasks and meet deadlines with aggressive schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and work product quality Must have excellent communication and writing skills. Written communication skills in the form of geotechnical/geologic data reporting is necessary. GIT Certification Experience with geotechnical projects including dams, mine tailings dams and water storage dams Analytical skills and knowledge of geological and geotechnical software (i.e., RocScience, Geo-Slope, gINT, etc.) Additional Information Relocation not available for this position.
