Our Transmission & Distribution division is looking for a staff Transmission Line Engineer to join our growing business in the Akron, Columbus, and St. Louis offices. Our Transmission Line Engineers are expected to maintain a high attention to detail, possess working knowledge of Transmission Line design, demonstrate ownership of their work, drive for continual improvement, and collaborate effectively with their team and clients in order to make our clients successful. Responsible for substation engineering and consulting services for clients across the US and internationally. Main responsibilities include creating electrical protection & control and/or physical layout design deliverables. Projects range in size, complexity, and voltage class from small distribution facility upgrades to large transmission projects. This position can influence the future of the resiliency, reliability, and economic operation of the electric grid. + Principal responsibilities include the design of high voltage (13kV-500kV) electrical substations.
