This position may be under the direct supervision of the Site Quality Manager or supervisor, on smaller projects, the individual may be required to perform the duties of a Site Quality Manager. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional looking to grow their expertise in cost estimating, construction management, and aviation project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist in developing cost estimates for aviation projects, including airside (runways, taxiways, aprons) and landside (terminals, parking, utilities) scopes. + Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. + Support the preparation of estimates for multiple design phases (conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents). + Analyze contractor bids, quotes, and proposals for completeness and accuracy. + Assist in cost control, budgeting, and cost forecasting during project execution. + Contribute to value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize cost and schedule. + Participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. + Maintain organized cost data and unit price libraries to support estimating consistency and benchmarking. + Prepare and review cost reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and client review. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field plus 6 **+ years of relevant experience** in cost estimating, quantity surveying, or project controls. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience supporting aviation, transportation, or infrastructure projects. + Exposure to multiple delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, Design-Build). + Knowledge of regional construction costs and industry standards. + Familiarity with Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or other project management tools. + Interest in pursuing professional certifications such as **AACE Certified Estimating Professional (CEP)** or **Certified Cost Professional (CCP)** . + Working knowledge of estimating principles, construction materials, and methods. + Familiarity with cost estimating software such as Sage/Timberline, RSMeans, On-Screen Takeoff, or equivalent. + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. **Additional Information** + This position may require passing airport-specific background checks and obtaining badges or clearances. + Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates. + Sponsorship is not offered for this position.
