The Senior Brokerage Assistant is responsible for the development and implementation of the account evaluation and binding strategy at Berkley Specialty Property. The position reports to the AVP - Binding Authority Broker & Director of Specialty Property and works with both Field and Staff functional areas. S/he executes, binds, and monitors accounts for BSP Specialty business and is in regular contact and communication with BSP Underwriting based in London. Key functions include but are not limited to:
* Daily management of the workload to ensure the effective solicitation, selection, pricing, and retention of profitable business.

* Aids in the development and management of appetite, guidelines, forms, forms usage, terms and conditions, training, and communications

* Adheres to account quality and compliance processes and controls, including peer reviews, self-audit reviews, management reviews, coordination of WRBC reviews.
* Adheres to established authority for all market segments and exercises sound judgment in risk selection, exposure analysis, pricing and coverage in evaluating and approving or rejecting individual-risk submissions from brokers.

Qualifications
Candidate Qualifications Sought:
* Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees and/or industry certifications preferred.
* 2+ years of commercial P&C experience with deep understanding of Property exposures and coverages.
* Holds a California Property & Casualty broker license as an individual or would be willing to acquire.
* Knowledge in the insurance field, preferrably in Commercial Property lines of business, and a broad understanding of the critical issues in other related areas
* Successful experience evidenced by quantifiable results.

POSITION SUMMARY:
IBX is seeking a self-motivated bioinformatician with 2-3 years of experience in bioinformatics or computational biology or related field. Must be adapt with contemporary genomics applications, database management systems and query optimization with higher focus on web-based application programming using programming languages such as Python/R/PHP/PERL, and database management. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, PhD preferred. Background in STEM preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
Triaging and analyzing scorecards and outputs from predictive models for General Claims, Personal Lines, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims and Medical Providers.
Conduct data mining efforts to explore anomalies, conduct statistical analysis, and identify patterns and trends related to fraudulent Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policies and claims.
Conduct background research on available public databases to support the need for the escalation of the claim review.
Review NJM databases, retrieve NJM recorded calls, and support the investigative teams.
Provide metrics and statistics, as well as actionable intelligence to aid in decision making.
Articulate and convey analyses into information that can be consumed by non-technical staff.
Share analytical findings with SIU Supervisory staff.

* Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment:
* Lead and conduct comprehensive business impact analyses to identify critical business functions and their recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations and IT infrastructure.
* Analyze potential impacts of disruptions on business processes, systems, and data.
