Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Sustainability Co-op to join our team. This role is ideal for a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. The co-op will support the sustainability team in data-focused tasks and assist with sustainability initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in tracking and analyzing environmental performance metrics (e.g., energy intensities, water consumption, waste diversion, GHG emissions, supplier data).
Support sustainability reporting efforts, including data collection and quality assurance for ESG disclosures.
Help with improvements in data management system to facilitate access to data and performance metrics across all locations.
Contribute to sustainability project planning and implementation, including analyzing the feasibility and impact of proposed projects.
Create content for cross-functional meetings with departments such as manufacturing and procurement.
Conduct benchmarking research on best practices in corporate sustainability, climate risks, renewable energy, emerging technologies, and circular economy strategies.
Qualifications:
At minimum candidate must be a rising junior enrolled in programs including Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, or a related field.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
Passion for sustainability and climate science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and guidance (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, GRI, TCFD).
Coursework or experience in GHG emissions accounting, waste and water management, energy markets, or life cycle assessment (LCA).

About this role:
The Utility Operator will be a member of a shift-based and plant-wide team that consistently manufactures high quality products to meet Dow Coating Material Business objectives in a safe, efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. Utility Operators utilize knowledge and experience to safely operate the utility equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make further improvements in plant performance.
Persons filling this job are expected to become qualified to operate the utility equipment. In addition, the Utility Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair, preventive and predictive maintenance of all types of equipment, including HVAC & refrigeration equipment, air compressors, etc.
Responsibilities:
Own the operation and troubleshoot as necessary, the utility systems across Bristol Croydon site.
Work within the maintenance work process to repair and maintain process equipment, specifically including refrigeration systems (HVAC, ARUs, MRUs, Chillers) according to industry and EPA guidelines.
Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions safely and efficiently and helps document failure analysis.
Supports Safe Work Permit activity across utility systems.
Ensures refrigerant recoveries following environmental protection agency (EPA) guidelines.
Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements.
Provides Work Activity Coordinator with all required information from each job performed, including feedback on what was found and done, and hours put in.
Provides Field Planner with all required information to assemble an effective plan on complex jobs.
Coordinate troubleshooting based on priority in plant. (Could be leveraged to other Units)
Work within operations to effectively communicate equipment status and unplanned events.
Works with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) Coordinator role in defining appropriate spare parts and defining necessary scheduled services for in area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.

Function Overview:

Job Description
Perform and support all leads, supervisors, and staff members with operational functions of quality control, label inspection and separation, packaging, special instructions and shipping in order to meet the delivery deadlines of each customer while maintaining all quality standards.
The Schedule for this role will be Sun-Tues 7:45AM-8PM, Wed 7:45AM-2PM
► Key Areas of Responsibility
Accurately inspects, separates, slots, and packages all label/print products
Insures all quality control standards are being maintained.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
Ensures all shipments are completed and all packages are shipped to the correct person/place as directly by the daily job schedule or as instructed by Lead, Supervisor, job ticket or customer special instructions.
Communicate problems or quality issues due to printing, laminating or shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.
Double check all shipments leaving the production facility for any errors before arriving to the customer.
May communicate with courier companies and drivers about delays in shipping, special courier deliveries, and other issues that may affect customer deliveries.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.

About you
Site Services Department employees are a member of a shift-based and plant-wide team that provide support for the Bristol Site's manufacturing operation through the packaging and distribution of our products to meet Dow Coatings Business objectives in a safe, efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. About this role
