Job Purpose Hiring Production Control Planner for Houston, TX! In this role, the Production Control Planner manages and facilitates work orders in the Subsea Services workshop. The maintenance, modification, and repair work orders coordinated by the Production Control Planner serve to prepare equipment for customer use according to operational requirements and priority. The Production Control Planner develops tactical MMRS execution plans in support of forecasted and active Subsea Services projects. Planners perform all service order management functions including, but not limited to, sub-order creation, work shop capacity evaluation, work shop dispatching and scheduling, service notification/quality notification initiation and completion, third party service coordination, and some inventory analysis to ensure the project execution plan can be delivered according to customer requirements. Job Description * Interprets internal customer inputs for development of onshore services scope of work. * Develops Tactical Project Execution Plan for workshop. * Forecasts resources to support the Project Execution Plan (i.e. Personnel, Tooling, Parts, Equipment, Capacity, Facilities, etc.) * Creates all Onshore Shop sub-service orders and the management of those orders (i.e. dates, scheduling, tracking, shortages, status, SO review for compliance to requirements) * Reports Project Execution Plan maintenance and statuses to internal customers. * Reports initial feedback to Asset Planner and other internal customers to include but not limited to: capacity planning, schedule creation and review, and schedule impact. * Reports routine statuses to operations and other internal customers. * Creates and maintains short range (1-3 week) SAP workshop schedule, to include de-confliction of competing requirements and resources to create internal and external customer success. * Provides feedback to internal customers regarding delivery capability, work order variances, and project status. * Focuses on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture and initiatives. * Learns continuously within the planning organization. * Represents Subsea Services in a positive manner in events with stakeholders in our business. * Supports process documentation and employees complying with FMC Technologies and/or Subsea Services specific approved procedures, processes and standards. * Communicates business critical events clearly to Asset Service Manager/Supervisor. * Actively participates in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Subsea Services Asset Services Organization. * Monitors and manages procurement (dock to stock) to include but not limited to: shortage management and corrective action, pick requests, expediting, purchase requisitions for outside services. If you're curious, analytical, and love to influence decisions, this role is for you. **IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:** + Research & Data Collection: + Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research on competitors, including their products, services, pricing, marketing strategies, and financial performance. + Utilize a variety of sources, such as market reports, financial filings, news articles, social media, and industry databases. + Perform in-depth interviews with industry experts, customers, Impact Partners, and sales teams to gather qualitative insights and street fighting stories. + Analysis & Synthesis: + Analyze collected data to identify key trends, opportunities, and threats in the competitive landscape. + Develop detailed competitor profiles, SWOT analyses, and strategic frameworks. + Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for PSS global sales teams. + Reporting & Communication: + Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, news posts, and reports to global sales and senior management. + Articulate complex findings in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure awareness of intelligence. + Support sales training and marketing events with presentations, seminars, or roundtables. + Market & Industry Monitoring: + Continuously monitor the market for emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and new entrants. + Maintain the competition SharePoint site, as a repository of competitive intelligence data and insights. + Proactively identify and assess potential competitive threats and opportunities. **WHO YOU ARE:** You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations.
