Program Overview TechnipFMC Field Service Technician Apprentice Program is a 12-week course designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for becoming a Field Service Technician across all Surface locations in the US. After completion of program available locations: Odessa, TX * Minot, ND * Speers, PA * Muncy, PA * Casper, WY * Broussard, LA Job Description * Field Service, assembly, and repair of new, reman and customer property. * Works independently to install new products and conduct repairs of TechnipFMC equipment ensuring no rig lost time for our customers while controlling expenses and maintaining assets of TechnipFMC. * Handles customer complaints in a professional manner. * Maintains communication with Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements. * Assures all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use and functions fit prior to beginning each job. Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains and reviews product running procedures. * Provides "Project Support" as required, for all new projects which includes attending design review for equipment and tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel. * Prepares and submits Field Service Orders and other region required reports after each job is complete. Completes a Tally Book or other forms to communicate procedures, spare parts, critical dimensions and customer questions and complaints. You are meant for this job if * High school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Strong mechanical aptitude. * Technical/vocational/or military training or related experience, preferred. * Surface Wellhead installation and repair experience a plus, but not required. * Mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic related experience * Valid driver's license. * Customer service skills - communication skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. * Organized and systematic with troubleshooting and problem assessment skills. Systems oriented and highly motivated with a positive attitude. * Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) forms as product problems are encountered. PURPOSE: FMC Aftermarket Technical Services Department consists of Technical Service Personnel and Degreed Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Petroleum, etc) that are hands-on, product-application oriented individuals that function in an onshore and/or offshore work environment. FMC Aftermarket Technical Services' focus is to provide our customers with detailed engineering, planning and onsite execution of services for installation, intervention, refurbishment and maintenance of FMC subsea and topsides equipment. Our goal is to provide technical support and services of FMC products in safe and timely manner that adhere to quality and reliability requirements that enable our customer success Technical Service Personnel prepare, support and troubleshoot the installation, testing, recovery, maintenance and repair of FMC oilfield equipment including, but not limited to: wellheads, risers, tensioners, control systems, subsea processing, trees, manifolds and tie in systems. Technical Services Personnel are on-site to coordinate, advise and interface with our customers and their contractors to ensure flawless execution of field installation and workover activities on FMC oilfield equipment.
