To explore the idea of an association, in April 1980, Peterson called a meeting of foam producer leaders at the Hilton Hotel in Chicago.
In March of 1993, Foam Factory, Inc. is incorporated.
Jacobs & Thompson acquires Edward Graphic Supplies in 2006, begins supplying foam mounting tapes to the flexographic printing market.
Jacobs & Thompson acquires Sonatex in 2007, offering flame laminated materials.
After its purchase in late 2011, Foam Factory transitions their offices and manufacturing to a new facility on 23 Mile in Macomb, Michigan.
Industrial Foam Division of E.F. Walter Inc acquired May, 2012.
