Job Description Summary
The primary function of the Strategic Customer Representative (SCR) is to increase market share with contractors and end-users in the preconstruction Data Center space. This will be accomplished by developing/strengthening customer relationships, increasing product awareness, and presenting our solution-based capabilities. As well as manage relationships from the field level decisions makers to the corporate office. This position will also serve as a mentor to the local Power & HVAC OSR's and a liaison in the overall go to market sales strategy, coordinating efforts between the Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate sales calls with local, regional, and/or national sellers on customers that perform data center construction.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal relationships with the local Outside Sales Reps and Branch Managers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the data center space as well as end-user companies including engineers and decision makers.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase products and services relevant to data center construction such as Power & HVAC required during a chiller flush and/or commissioning on new infrastructure.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs within the data center sector to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
Prepare customized proposals and pricing models based on customer requirements ensuring alignment with company standards.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, aiming for mutually beneficial terms while ensuring profitability for the company.
Provide ongoing support to customers to address any issues, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Follow up with clients after the sale to gather feedback, assist with implementation, and identify future sales opportunities.
Work closely with internal engineering, marketing, and support teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and expectations.
Meet or exceed sales targets, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM system.
Educate clients about product features, benefits, and best practices, helping them optimize their data center operations.
Travel regionally to meet customers, attend trade shows, and explore potential new markets or partnerships.
Develop relationships with the targeted Strategic Customers within their assigned territory with the goal of becoming the “first call” with these customers.
Attend national and regional trade shows as necessary.
Review, design, and update as necessary customer programs (rebates, rates, quick pays, portals, etc). Work with sales and leadership teams to present agreements to customers.
Keep appropriate business leaders (RMs, VPs, etc) apprised of activities, progress or issues with strategic customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Support the overall strategy of the company and the Power & HVAC line of business.
Increase revenue and return on investment on specific and assigned product lines and market segments.
Assist team with in-depth product specification training for all team members.
Actively engage and keep the team involved in tradeshows and associations.
Manage specific projects on an as needed basis to drive revenue and maximize return on investment.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
College degree or equivalent work experience plus 6-8+ years in Outside Sales or Sales Management role
Documented successful territory management showing consistent revenue growth
Comfortable cold calling on new accounts
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Comfortable calling on jobsites and corporate office
Ability to incorporate the Specialty Businesses into their presentations and product offerings
Product training to be provided by the various Sunbelt experts, by division
Work remotely from home or from the local Sunbelt PC's so no relocation required
60% to 75% travel
Salesforce experience preferred but not required

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Position Objective:
The Field Technician will coordinate with the leadership team to provide an exemplary level of equipment service to our customers, demonstrate skills and performance in the use, operation, set up and repair of all company equipment. This position is a highly skilled technician and requires the individual to demonstrate a very high level of professionalism through positive communication and appearance. The main goal of this position is to restore equipment to a “like new” status in three core functions - Safety, Mechanical and Quality Appearance.
Position Responsibilities:
Travel to and perform all levels of repair on-site at various Climate Control locations.
Understand major repair needs for all aspects of equipment
Clean, repair, order and install all necessary parts to ensure these standards are met
Ensure decals are replaced and equipment is cleaned, then detailed
Train onsite service techs to diagnose and repair equipment to maintain quality, as well as regular check-ins and preventative maintenance
Provide insight to repair and warehouse areas to technicians
Operate company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver's license and excellent driving record free from points
Keep records and maintain company vehicle. This includes washing, oil-changes and general safety inspection. Any defect or variation from normal performance should be reported to the supervisor
Maintain and track company tools and supplies (broken tools should be brought to supervisor for replacement)
Provide own tools as outlined.
Communicate professionally with customers, service techs, managers, and sales engineer
Complete appropriate paperwork for repairs
Work with service technicians to keep appropriate records and paperwork
Keeps track of serial numbers
Implement proper and safe procedures
Demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor to customers and PC team
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication
Take accurate phone messages and have a clear, professional manner when speaking with customers
Communicates effectively with staff
Is on call for emergency service and is available if such emergencies arise
Successfully troubleshoots and completely understands the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment
Understand advanced electrical motors and controls and their operations

Must be able to travel 75% of the time, both locally and nationally
Basic math skills
Must be at least 21 years of age in order to operate commercial vehicles
HVAC certification is required
EPA certification required
Experience in full break down and repair of all types of heating, cooling, and remediation equipment, including major repairs
Deep diagnostic expertise to diagnose equipment needs to meet standards in areas such as safety, mechanical and quality appearance/cosmetic
Troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical, fuel, and electrical systems

Job Description Summary
Position Responsibilities:
* Conduct equipment operator certification training and general safety training for customers and to a lesser extent, employees using various modalities; modalities will include Instructor Lead Training and Virtual Training
* Publish public training class schedules on SBRs training platform on a 3-month rolling calendar basis to provide customers multiple class options for purchase.
* Provide private classes to customers either at an SBR branch location or customer site.
* Complete training records on a timely basis in SBR's system(s) of record for retention and retrieval according to company policy.
* Trigger the issuance of customer wallet cards within 24 hours of class completion.
* Learn new adult training methods and courses to teach customers across a variety of safety topics.
* Maintain current training and equipment operator certifications.
* Provide Train the Trainer courses for customers.
* Optimize productivity using various efficiency measures such as maximizing class attendance and scheduling.
* Sell and support the sales teams to close safety training opportunities and grow the Safety Training business.
* Work with the Marketing Support team to create flyers and other sales materials to promote the safety training offering to local customers.
* Coach and mentor Certified Evaluators in their district(s) with a hands-on opportunity to practice or to see how the practical evaluation is to be completed.
* Support the Certified Evaluator team by providing equipment practical evaluations to customers who have completed the online equipment certification coursework and written exam.
* Assist District and Regional Managers with the onboarding and training of new District Safety Trainers, Employee Trainers and Certified Evaluators.
* Act as an advisor regarding safety issues and standards to SBR employees and customers.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field
* Heavy equipment experience and certification (MEWP, Forklift, Earth Moving)
* Broad knowledge of industry safety standards, practices, and regulations
* Experience and knowledge of adult learning methods
* Dependable, organized, motivated, and self-starter
* Customer-service and 'solutions' oriented
* Ability and willingness to travel; overnight travel may be required (10%-15%)
* Proficiency in MS Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
