We are seeking an exceptional litigationattorney to join our California trial teams. The position requires you to work independently, and also monitor the work of others, to thoroughly prepare cases for trial. Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills are a must. You should be a self-starter with good judgment who keeps a cool head under pressure.
This is a position for a top-notch candidate with significant experience. You will be compensated accordingly. Although you will be set up for remote work, this position requires you to be present in the office regularly to collaborate with others, and to make frequent court appearances. Qualifications • 10+ years defense litigation experience, defense experience preferred • Hands-on experience taking a case file from inception through resolution • Knowledge of products liability, toxic tort, and/or general liability law preferred • Must be admitted to practice in CA (admission in other jurisdictions a plus)

Job Summary (basic description)

Managing eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations
Developing workflows for eDiscovery review platforms including Relativity and proprietary vendor platforms, and incorporating eDiscovery data analytics tools into those workflows including TAR, predictive coding, and Early Case Assessment. Advising legal, compliance and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies that comply with the relevant policies, laws and regulations arising in connection with litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory inquiries
Providing support to case teams on eDiscovery-related negotiations and motion practice.
Assisting clients with updating their internal eDiscovery workflows. Working in the framework of eDiscovery processes and current & evolving eDiscovery technologies in conjunction with other disciplines, including Information Governance, Data Protection, Data Security, IT, Compliance
Identifying and escalating improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures as necessary
Serving as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics and helping with the on-boarding and training of new and existing customers
Implementing custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence for clients
Creating and refining standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides and review workflows
