The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences. Our store internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience through practical business-to-business and retail experience working in a paint store. You will gain insight into a career in outside sales by traveling with a Sales Representative and spending structured time with your management team. You will also complete a project that addresses critical business issues alongside your peers and with the support of leadership.

About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)

What You'll Do:
Diagnosing; No heat, no AC, not enough cooling, fan only, loud noises from unit, leaking around unit, etc
Selling Repairs / replacements of furnaces, boilers, condensers, package units, coils, humidifiers, water heaters, circulators, zone controls, heat pumps, air handlers, etc

Applicants must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, work well with middle and high school students, and have good oral and written communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Implement, and evaluate a comprehensive guidance program targeting identified student needs
* Assist students in evaluating their abilities and aptitudes through the interpretation of available data, and work with the student and their parents in evolving educational and vocational plans in terms of the evaluation
* Conduct individual and group counseling sessions on personal and social problems and educational opportunities
* Assist in the preparation and processing of college, scholarship, financial aid, and employment applications and make recommendations for admissions and scholarships
* Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other relevant individuals to enhance the educational experience for students
* Maintain an efficient record-keeping system
* Attend Child Study Team, 504, & I&RS meetings
* Assemble, maintain, and interpret accurate authorized cumulative permanent records, maintaining the confidentiality of such records
* Participate in the organization and administration of the standardized testing program
* Perform other duties which may be within the scope of employment and certifications as may be assigned by their supervisor or other member of the administrative staff
