Wedgewood Weddings is hiring Kitchen Utility Attendants!


The best way to describe the position is as a Multi-Use Utility Person. The
Wedgewood Kitchen Utility
staff members are critical to the overall maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities and have a variety of responsibilities. They will be washing dishes, helping with food prep, helping to plate the food, as well as set up and break down of the actual events. This person will also assist with on-going kitchen and facility maintenance. We have a great team, and we want to add someone who will jump on board with positive energy.

We are open seven days a week and have primarily afternoon/evening shifts available throughout the weekdays and weekends.


Remember, we work when our clients and guests play, so weekend, evening and holiday availability is mandatory.



Wedgewood Utility staff members have:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Current Hiring Rate:
$15.50/hour + Tips! (non-exempt hourly role). If you're returning from Winter 21-22, this position is eligible for our + $.50 Returner Rate!

We like to carry our stoke of the mountain into every corner of our Food Beverage department. From our 2 base lodges to our mid-mountain lodge sitting at 7,800 feet, we offer just about every style of service. Across these lodges our Food Beverage department offers a full-service sit-down restaurant, multiple cafeterias, full-service bars, and our well-loved Pinnacles coffee shops. Positions available would be primarily for one outlet, but employees may occasionally be asked to help in other outlets, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills across the ski resort.

If working at Pine Marten Lodge be prepared for daily lift rides which can be cold, rainy, snowy, or wet.

The Dishwasher's main objective is to produce clean sanitized pots, pans, dishes, and utensils as necessary in a very timely manner. Also, Dishwashers may assist in preparing food, oversee and provide trash removal, bussing tables, and cleaning dining area.


Major Responsibilities/ Daily Essential Functions:


  • Produces, clean and sanitized pots, dishes, and utensils in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain and operate in a safe working environment.
  • Provides high quality service for guests and fellow employees with a friendly and cooperative attitude.
  • Maintains dish stations, keeping them clean and free of debris and store all items in their proper place.
  • Maintains kitchen floor, keeping it clean and dry.
  • Cleans kitchen walls, equipment, and other areas, as assigned.
  • Willing to learn health department guidelines regarding water temperature, slippery floors, knife handling and proper use of machinery and equipment.
  • Willing to learn all chemicals used for this position, their uses, appropriate quantities, and emergency procedures, as detailed on SDS sheets.
  • Can handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
  • Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
  • Accountable for accurate time keeping. Responsible for clocking in and out with employee pass.
  • Complete any reasonable task assigned by supervisor.
  • Observe mountain-wide policies found in the Employee Handbook.
  • Must be comfortable working in customer-oriented environment with guests of unknown origins within apotential COVID exposure scenario.
