Responsibilities
The OHH Food Service Attendant performs general food service work. Assembles and delivers room service trays to patients and guests. May perform multiple duties in the kitchen and dish room. Prepares room service trays for patients and guests. Assembles trays for patients and guests by placing the correct food on trays in proper amounts according to room service orders. Ensures proper heating of food bases and plates to ensure delivery of hot food to patient's room. Coordinates the assembly of the tray with the cook's order to ensure timely delivery of food to patient. Wraps and covers each food item on patient tray prior to delivery. Ensures excellent tray appearance and correctness prior to delivery. Delivers room service trays to patient rooms in a prompt and courteous manner.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous food service experience preferred.
Working Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred.
