Duties May Include: * Assisting on the serving line. * Assisting with clean-up which may include mopping floors, cleaning equipment, cleaning restroom, working in the dishroom, sweeping floors, and cleaning the teachers' lounge. * Food preparation as directed. * Cashiering * Operating equipment in the kitchen and cafeteria area. * Storing clean dishes and equipment. * Storing stock items (freezer, dry storage, cooler, and chemicals). * Assisting in recordkeeping and reports. * Other tasks as assigned by the food service manager. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
