Food Prep Education Requirements

Usually, food preps don't need a college education. The most common degree for food preps is high school diploma with 48% graduates, with only 16% food prep graduates earning bachelor's degree. Food preps who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or Central State University. Some good skills to have in this position include food service, food handling and taking care.
