About This Position

Fresh Food Coordinators play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fresh kitchens. You will assist in overseeing the preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh food items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Job Functions:
* Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
* Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
* Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
* Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
* Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
* Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
* Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures
* Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
