Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Food Processor:

* Prepare a variety of foods for cooking according to instructions

* Receive and store food supplies and equipment

* Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, etc.

* Store food in designated containers and storage areas

* Record temperatures in storage areas to make sure temperatures are complying

Job requirements:

* Must be comfortable with working in a cold storage warehouse

* Ability to stand, lift and bend frequently

* Ability to work 8 to 12 hour shifts

Allegiance Staffing is looking for a Food Processor to work in Irving, Tx. 1st and 2nd shift positions available for those looking to earn a generous pay. Those candidates who are dependable, have a good work ethic, and can work in an independent or team environment will excel here.
Shift
Information
1st shift: 7:00am – 5:30pm, weekday & weekend shifts

• 2nd shift: 7:00pm – 5:30am, weekday & weekend shifts
• 4-day work week

Responsibilities of Food Processor

• Perform visual inspection of all products
• Packing and unpacking product
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sanitation duties as assigned
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Work on an assembly line
• Communicate quality issues of the product to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure prompt and timeliness of changeovers
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment
• Ability to meet daily production standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
of Food Processor

• Must be able to understand and execute work based on verbal and visual instructions
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds repetitively
• Stand for the duration of the shift (10 hours or more)
• Bend continuously throughout the shift
• Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• E-verification required

Compensation
for Food Processor

• 1st Shift: $16.50 per hour
• 2nd Shift: $17.50 per hour
• Weekend Differential +$1.50/hr.

• Weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing correct finished product
• Ensuring food safety and quality

Required Qualifications
