Purpose
Initiate, support, and lead Production Team activities targeting Quality continuous improvement and assurance within Machine Division. Reports to Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Job Description
Promote an atmosphere of continuous process and employee improvement.
Support or drive Continuous Improvement activities.
Enforce Quality standards in all facets of the assigned areas.
Assist with the evaluation, proper identification, and disposition of all non-conforming items and materials.
Follow all significant product, document and process changes which affect Quality.
Work with departmental supervision in developing and maintaining a trained work force.
Support Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Research and Development in the Design, Introduction, Inspection and Maintenance of new and existing equipment.
Define, troubleshoot and assist in the measurement and resolution of daily production Quality problems.
Must have an uncompromising attitude towards Quality.
Maintain manufacturing Quality performance metrics and/or Quality records.
Help production departments manage Quality aspects of Stop Shipment process.
Take active role in Stop Ship investigations and Stop Ship rework tracking/coordination.
Take active role in analysis of scrap and yield opportunities.
Perform work center, finished product and process audits, as required.
Create Process Maps.
Initiate CAPA Determinations.
Report safety near misses and incidents whenever applicable.
Basic Requirements
Technician III: Vocational training and 5+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years experience in a relevant work environment.

Quality Lab Technician
The Lab Technician supports Nature's One by sampling and testing to ensure delivery of safe, pure and quality products ensuring quality infant formula products are manufactured in a new state-of-the-art facility. The technician will provide daily oversight of the wet and dry analytical labs that will including testing product at various stages in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will understand, practice and maintain the highest Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) in all aspects of the job.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure incoming raw materials are aseptically sampled, labeled, appropriately stored and retained
Prepare raw material samples for outside testing, as required
Conduct total solids and pH testing on liquid mix during manufacture
Conduct physical stability testing on powder (e.g., moisture, reconstituted pH, scorched particles, dispersibility, color, flavor and aroma)
Ensure powder samples are taken from each manufacturing lot, appropriately stored and retained
Track chemical reagents used in the lab to ensure that no expired reagents are used
Conduct monthly testing on water samples and/or prepare water samples for shipment to a third party laboratory
Ensure the lab is maintained in a clean, well-organized condition that support good laboratory practices
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and place orders to replenish stock, as needed
Adhere to GMPs and GLPs and personal hygiene requirements without exception

Must be able to read and accurately use multiple gages including calipers, micrometers, taper gages, tape measures, radius gages, angle gages, Brinell hardness testers, etc. while maintaining internal gaging validation records against NIST standards
Maintain physical and electronic storage of data and applicable supporting documents, regarding Quality requirements
Create, verify, and/or properly store material certifications from vendors and internal heat treat operations
Conduct manufacturing process walk-through audits, communicate findings/nonconformances, and follow-up on implementation and effectiveness of corrections.

Position Details
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Options: Varying schedules based on production volume and operational needs. As a new and growing company, we offer flexibility-but shifts may change week to week.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality control preferred
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and verify production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
Accurately complete quality reports and production documentation
Work with the HPP Coordinator and Production Supervisor to address quality concerns
Support implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure product meets all internal and customer specifications
Perform routine inspections, including visual checks, measurements, and documentation
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated quality control areas
Participate in training and follow all safety and hygiene protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate:
$17.00-$19.00/hour for weekday-only availability
$18.00-$20.00/hour for weekend availability

Job DescriptionIDEAL ELECTRIC COMPANY, a 122-year-old, independent American manufacturer of high-power, specialty electric motors, generators, power systems and controls seeks an experienced Quality Technician who is a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve company goals while upholding a culture of ethics, integrity, and excellence in everything we do. This position is based in our facility in Mansfield, Ohio reporting to the Quality Control Manager, plays a key role throughout our product lifecycle through design, supply, manufacture, and customer application for both manufactured products and aftermarket services.
OVERVIEW: The Quality Technician plays a key role supporting the product lifecycle through design, supply, manufacture, and customer application for both manufactured products and aftermarket services. This full-time role is charged with being an active Quality presence on the Ideal Electric production floor and assisting the Quality Compliance & Assurance Manager in ensuring Quality processes are fully integrated.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct quality in-process, incoming, and first piece inspections on production floor.
Be an active quality department presence on the production floor.
Maintain calibrations on test and inspection equipment.
Review supplier material certifications and quality documentation for compliance.
Address quality issues with suppliers when needed.
Assist with internal corrective action and warranty claim investigations.
Assist in the development of work instructions and procedures when needed.
Assist with management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and conflict minerals management when needed.
Audit manufacturing departments against released manufacturing processes, procedures and assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues.
Creation, implementation, and management of quality control plans, including verification of proper use of inspection forms.
Maintain quality records (i.e. inspection reports, test reports, oven charts, material test reports)
Participate in 3rd party audits and customer audits as needed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
High School diploma or certified equivalent
5+ years' experience in a Quality-related role is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in a related technical area is desired, but not required. Years of working experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Demonstrated continuous improvement expertise.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Must be able to properly use/read Micrometers, Calipers, Tape Measures, Thread Gauges, Snap Gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Faro Arm experience is desired but not required.
Must be able to read drawings and other technical data.
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills and familiarity with basic MS Word/Excel is required.
US citizenship is required in this role.
Must have strong communication skills.
Experience with ITAR requirements is desired, but not required.
Teamwork approach with excellent communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills
WORKING CONDITIONS AND WORK HOURS
Daily minimum of 8 hours. Weekly 40-hour minimum.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays, and nights.
Travel may be required (likely 25% or less). Must be able to travel throughout the United States and abroad. Must have the ability obtain and maintain a valid passport and US-issued driver's license.
This position generally operates in a professional office environment with frequent availability on the production floor.

You will provide quality assurance support aligned to increase internal and outgoing quality levels, supporting overall customer satisfaction of our products.
Key job responsibilities
Performs basic and routine receiving, in-process, and final product inspections and testing.
Determines and uses appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
Participates in problem solving activities for both product and manufacturing processes.
Performs basic process and product monitoring for quality.
Performs containment activities preventing potential or additional quality defects
Assists with product reviews and analysis to determine root cause and/or disposition; supports processing non-conformances (NC) to closure.
Performs FAI as directed, and reports results.
Effectively communicates with appropriate areas as needed (supply, manufacturing, engineering, quality, customer service, production planning, logistics, etc.).
Provides process audit support in designated areas.
Assists in basic calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.

Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. Bachelors in technical field preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude.
