Job Summary: Our Host is the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a warm and inviting first impression for every guest. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication with the service team. Key Responsibilities Understands our culture and does whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience. Welcomes guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant. Answers guest questions regarding flow, food, beverages, restaurant, and the restaurant's story. Hospitality to the Restaurant: Inspects and cleans the restrooms, dining room, and lobby as needed and reports any unsafe conditions to maintain safety and sanitation standards. Monitors dining area tables to ensure they meet or exceed standards (e.g., proper table set up, full napkin dispensers, swept floors under tables, etc.). Hospitality to your Team: Arrives to work on time as scheduled, well-groomed in the proper work attire, and ready to work. Clocks in and out as scheduled. Demonstrates a helpful, positive attitude to guests and team members. Completes all assigned tasks and duties assigned by managers/supervisors. Checks the greeter area and its storage areas for adequate supplies (e.g., menus, business cards, pens/pencils, etc.) to ensure supplies are readily available. Reviews potential wait times and works with managers to plan seating arrangements. Assists fellow team members as needed to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of food, beverage, and hospitality. Checks out with a manager before leaving at the end of each shift. Requirements & Prior Experience: Basic computer skills Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
