The Barista is responsible for accurately operating the cash register, processing payments, and preparing a variety of concession items and beverages for guests. This role ensures all products are presented with consistent quality and delivered with attentive service. The Barista is expected to maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold excellent attendance in accordance with company policy.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00.

Responsibilities
* Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction.
* Knows how to memorize and use a recipe book
* Can operate a blender, coffee machine, and expresso machine
* Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels, and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger of low stock items.
* Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
* Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
* Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
* Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Must be 18 or over
* Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
* Previous cash handling experience preferred.
* Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
* Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.

Verify proper government-issued identification of Guests when alcohol is ordered as required by state and federal law.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
Must meet the minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
High School diploma or GED
Generally, 1+ year of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
Prior Guest Service experience
Must have current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
