JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an energetic food preparation worker to assist our kitchen workers by preparing food ingredients. The food preparation worker will wash, peel, slice, trim, chop, and grate fruit and vegetables and measure, weigh, and mix various ingredients. The food preparation worker will cut, slice, and grind various meats. You will ensure ingredients are stored and rotated effectively to optimize freshness and ensure desired stock levels at all times. You will collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
To succeed in this role, you will ensure the quality and stability of products by complying with production guidelines, following standardized recipes, and overseeing product quality through adequate storage and product rotation. Job Qualifications
Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform.
Must be able to read menu items and speak English.
Able to reach, bend, stoop and perform cleaning duties.
Required to carry trays and supplies. Assist in re-stocking & detail cleaning of all aspects of the restaurant.
Must be able to clearly communicate guest's needs to other employees including bussers, hostess, and manager.
Additional Info:
Schedules may vary and may include working weekend, but with no night shifts
A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education
Great for someone who has kids and can work while they are in school since our restaurants close at 2pm
