Maintain all Club service standards. Set examples and do not implement or encourage shortcuts.
Maintains proper inventory of all bar-related items, ordering, prep, set up, breakdown, cleaning as you go for a spotless bar and when necessary, wait tables, bus tables, bartending, assisting with schedules, marketing, the printing of collateral, and menus.
Learn and understand all Club Member Rules and other special conditions that are managed by the F&B team such as Honolulu County liquor regulations.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of service area and see that services are continually executed at the expected level.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire bar and surrounding area.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.

Compensation
The Honolulu Museum of Art is committed to practicing salary transparency. The minimum salary for this position is $16.00 per hour, and this is a tipped position. DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most work will be indoors at the Kroc Center Hawaii Education & Resource Conference Center, Classrooms, Kitchen, administrative offices and anywhere else throughout the Center where banquet service may be needed. Attendance at trainings and conferences, both in Hawaii and on the mainland, may be required.
EQUIPMENT NEEDS:
Equipment used includes general office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, scanners, printers, fax machines, telephone (office, cell, PDA), and 10-key calculator, various equipment such as coffee and espresso machines and other kitchen appliances.
