OUR OPPORTUNITY:Neogen is looking for a Director of Key Accounts within our Food Safety Division.

The Director of Key Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth in a specific list of vital customer accounts in a defined industry segment. They will be required to develop business relationships with buyer influencers, be the lead/ point of contact for all key customer matters, anticipate their needs, align Neogen solutions with customer needs, ensure deadlines are met and help the customers realize organizational objectives specific to food safety. The key account manager will also bring in new business from industry prospects, influence industry standards as well as develop new customer relationships.
Our package includes an excellent base salary plus monthly bonus potential. This position has an established customer base with high growth potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build solid, trusting, and measurable relationships with key customers and companies while developing a complete understanding of key account needs Resolve key customer issues, complaints and anticipate key account improvements Manage communications between key customer and internal teams and manage account team activities assigned to each of your customers Build and plan strategically to improve customer results Negotiate contracts with the customers, conduct regular business reviews with them as well as establish timelines to measure performance Establish and oversee internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the customer Work with Product Managers, members dedicated to the same customer accounts to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and customer needs are met Collaborate with the sales team to maximize revenue by up-selling or cross-selling products and/or services Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, for use in future case studies or company training Analyzing customer data to provide measurable customer relationship management including monthly, quarterly and annual reviews. Accurately forecast growth Expand relationships and bring in new customers, prospects, developed pipelines

Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on customer contracts Proven results of delivering customer solutions and meeting sales goals
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine effective reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Strategic Accounts or employees of an organization Industry experience in Food SafetyMicrosoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience working with a CRM tool required.

Education and/or Experience: Four-year College degree (preferred), or equivalent work experience.

Travel: Up to 60%
