Job Responsibilities

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Under direct supervision, the Food Service Worker prepare and serve food as assigned by the Head Cook in accordance with departmental policies, and state and federal health codes. We are looking for an experienced server to join our team. At this time we are requiring at least one Bar shift as well. We are willing to work with new bartenders, or those whom wish to learn. We will train the right individual. While bartending you will also be expected to help answer phones, take out orders, and seat tables as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquets or events
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a server in a restaurant with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Knowledge of basic math and retail math for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with the food industry and food service procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
