POSITION SUMMARY:
The Banquet Server is the primary guest care provider. Banquet Servers will greet guests, answer questions, take beverage orders, deliver completed items and ensure guest satisfaction by adhering to our high standards of service and hospitality. Although support staff may be scheduled to assist, primary responsibility for the entire guest experience after seating and up to departure falls to the Banquet Server.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
$18.70-$23.10 per hour, based on relevant experience

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Sets banquet tables to meet function specifications.
Delivers and serves food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments.
Removes china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and delivers to the stewarding area.
Ensures guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
Responds to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Assists others with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, stocking, folding, silverware, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year experience in food server job, preferably with events.
Valid Food Handler Card required.
Completed Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 60 days of hire.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, especially weekends and holidays.
Understanding of proper food service and customer service techniques
English as primary language; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
Must be able to lift, stand, bend, kneel, walk and stretch for long hours at a time.

PURPOSE

PURPOSE
The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guests satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately
Ensure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specifications
Ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws
Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions. Process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
Collect required signatures from guest and promptly close guest checks
Ensure accurate accounting of all monies and independent banking procedures
Sign all cash out slips legibly
Ensure complete and proper check out procedures
Clean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles
Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident
Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to management immediately
Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High School Diploma preferred
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Valid Driver's License
18+ years of age
Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
Minimum of two (2) years related experience
Experience with POS systems
Familiarity with beer and spirits
Proper lifting techniques

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Server in our community restaurant, you are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our senior residents by providing friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. This role ensures residents' dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming and inclusive dining environment. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and certificates:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
At least 6-12 months of experience in a serving, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus.
Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
